Being backstage with Kat, looking out from behind the curtain, really made me nervous.
Sooo many people showed! And just to watch us play. I looked out more into the crowd, seeing mom and Walter out front, grinning.
Then I saw Bianca and Cam, holding hands, smiling. And then I saw Jim, standing in the back. He actually showed. Wow.
"You ready rock star?" I turned, seeing Patrick standing there. I couldn't help but grin a huge grin. I hugged him tight, sighing happily. He looked down at me, that cute little smile on his face.
"You're gonna kill it." I grinned, kissing him, gently.
"Thank you for being here." He grinned.
"Always." Kat looked at us, sticking her finger in her mouth, making me laugh.
"You ready lovebird?" I looked at Patrick, seeing him grinning.
"Totally." We ran out onto the stage, everyone clapping. We truly felt like rockstars. We decided to sing Bad Reputation by Joan Jett. That's basically our favorite song. Halfway through the song, I looked to the side stage, seeing Patrick, dancing. I seriously wouldn't be here without him. He showed me that I could accomplish anything I set my mind to. And he believed in me.
I looked in the back of the room, seeing Jim, grinning. I smiled. I looked at Kat, seeing her singing her heart out, making me smile even more. She's truly amazing.I kept on drumming, the huge grin never leaving my face. Life works in such a strange way. But it's pretty incredible....
