Outside the wall

Chapter #1 the start

"Melissa you've got to see this!" Isaac shouts. I run over the hill to see what he found. We go outside the wall pretty much every day looking for treasures... Or maybe I should say: whatever that can tell us about our past, about the ark. Our parents don't want to tell us about it so we figured it's better to solve it ourselves. We're always warned that its dangerous if we go too far away from the wall but never told what's dangerous. "What the hell is that?!" I ask. "I think it's some kind of accessory?" I pick it up and look on the inside "Why the hell would an accessory have a tracker in it?" I ask. "How do you know that?" He says and take it away from me. "See those things poking out? Trackers, obviously the ark wanted to track something down here" "you don't know that for sure" he says and put it in his bag. "I do, look in this book" I pick up my dads book and shows him a picture of my mom. "See that around her wrist, it looks very alike to this, when I was little she told me she was wearing a wristband for the ark to control everything was okay here on earth" I say "alright alright... You're the smart one! All hail Melissa" he says laughing. "Haha very funny...."
I hear a stick break. I pull him down to the ground and hide in some bushes "Isaac there's someone here" "how do you know all this?!". "Shh Don't talk and stay low" I say. He stands up "Melissa you're probably just being paranoid! Come on let's-" before he finishes his sentence an arrow goes right through his stomach he falls to the ground. "ISAAC?!" I shout. "Oh my god this can't be true, Isaac?" I try to get contact with him. "Someone please help!!!" I shout "Melissa... Take me to the wall, I'm gonna be okay. Just... Take my bag and if they want anything from it. Run"
I help him up. I shout for help all the way to the wall where some guards help me. "He's been shot take him to the ER" says one of the guards.
The walk away quickly and I run after them. Another guard stops me. "Hold on there you're coming with me, Clark wants to talk to you" "please let me be with him!" He shakes his head and leads me to Clark's tent. damn it, Clark is the leader. She was a family friend before, or she still is we just don't talk a lot since mom and dad died 10 years ago.
"Melissa... Why do you always end up here? You and Isaac always get in trouble" she says. I don't answer, "do you understand how dangerous it is out there? We have a wall for a reason, you're just like Octavia and you know what happened to her" "do not talk about my mother! And it's your fault! none of you want to tell us about the ark, people want to know! What did they need to track before going here? What else is out there? Who are the earthlings? Who are the 100 and why did they come here?" I scream out. I see in her face she turns way more serious "Melissa! Calm down. I need you to calm down and just..." She presses a button to call guards. "What are you doing? Please Clark no" "Just tell me what you know" I hear the guards coming. "I don't... I just know what dad drew in his book."  I say quietly. Two guards comes in and grabs my arms behind my back. "You need to give me that bag, I think you're hiding something" she says and reaches out her hand.  I try I tore myself away from the guard but he holds me back. "Just let me get the bag! Gosh...." I say quietly. I reach out in the bag and grab a knife. "Come on Lincoln might have something we need to fight..." She stops. "No! It's your fault my parents are dead! If you didn't exclude them from camp they would still be alive!! Mount weather took them didn't they?" I ask holding tight to my knife. "I'm sorry I can not answer that question now I need that book now!" She sounds a lot more angry. She walks over to me, "never! It's the only thing I have left" I shout I take out the knife and stab her in the stomach she screams. One of the guards take my knife and the other one pulls me out of the tent. "Leave me alone!!"  He walks me in to the cells where people who broke the law in some way. He throws me in a cell and closes the door. I guess that was it. They've had enough of me... Fair enough but I want to know the truth about mountain people, grounder and just everything. I need to see Isaac and tell him all about it, and probably say goodbye. People who go to the cells normally don't come back. At least not the people who broke the law before and is under the age of 18. I'm gonna break out of the cell tonight and visit him there has to be some way... I see that the window is unlocked. Time to get out of here I think...
