Gossip Girl here, welcoming you to the new year when Manhattanites who flew south for the sun return to their Park Avenue perches. Which means I have a lot of catching up to do. Word is, Serena van der Woodsen tangoed in the new year in the plazas of Buenos Aires. Guess that means Lonely Boy was all alone when the clock tolled 12. And what of Little J? Rumor is, she's trading runways for hallways. So long, high fashion. Hello, high school. Blair Waldorf has been spotted making inroads at the Colony Club. With high school nearing its end has Queen B found a new social ladder to climb? As for our resident Heiress, it seems she's all business and no play. It's been full steam ahead on that old construction building she bought and yet no word of any kind of love, has O lost her touch? So, the only real question remaining: where in the world is Chuck Bass? And is he ever coming back?

"How relieved are you to finally have that cast off?". Spencer questioned as his little sister walked out of her room dressed in the Constance uniform for one last semester. "Beyond. That thing was getting old, and it smelled." Cringing at the reminder of the cast Ophelia rubbed her still healing arm gently to ease the ache that remained. "How long did the doctor say it would take until you could design again?". The older boy wondered, slightly shifting his eyes from the piles of paperwork stacked in front of him. "Another month, until then I've got to rest my arm and allow it time to heal." Ophelia let out a sigh at this, wanting nothing more than to continue growing her fashion line before she finished high school.

"Maybe it's the world telling you to take a well-earned break for once." Spencer offered, trying to cheer his sister up as their parents had returned home to Italy. "That or the world is laughing at me." Taking a bite out of a croissant on the table Ophelia grabbed her to-go coffee mug and placed a kiss on her brother's cheek. "I'm off. Time to start the last first day." "Try not to get hit by a car!". Spencer called out as his sister left the apartment, receiving a middle finger in the air from the heiress causing him to laugh to himself and return to work as Ophelia joined Alex in her limousine and began her journey to Constance.

Spotted: S and Lonely Boy kicking off the new year like it's last year. Who knows? Maybe third time's a charm. But let's not break out the bubbly just yet.

"Care! I missed you so much." Ophelia exclaimed as she ran down the hall of Constance towards her blonde best friend, grateful the holidays were over, and she could finally see the girl again. "Ugh I know, the change of time zones was awful!". Wrapping her arms around the heiress Carrington let herself indulge in her best friend's grasp, both letting out squeals of excitement upon finally seeing the other again. "You got the cast off early!". The blonde cheered as she examined the few scars that lay littered across her best friend's arm. "There was no way I was coming to school with them." Ophelia shook her head in disgust, never being one to care about her social status in Constance halls but feeling glad she didn't need to answer questions from nosey nobodies.
