Gilbert's p.o.v

"who's your boyfriend bruder?" My face turned red from my brothers comment. "Ve are not dating," I tried to say calmly but it came out kinda sad, what if I do like Mattie? No, Gil you can't father won't allow it, it's not awesome.

"Oh...ok, vell it's nice to meet ju I am Ludwig, Gilbert's younger bruder," Matthew smiled softly at Ludwig "ah, I'm Matthew, a new friend of Gil's...I kinda thought you where the older brother,"

damn it, why does everyone say that? I'm obviously older I mean I AM more mature looking and awesome. Ludwig laughed softly looking at the look on my face that has grown to a small pout.

"everyone says that, and I can see vhy my older bruder acts childish, like now vith his pouting," I looked away fast " I am not pouting," this caused Matthew to giggle softly, an adorable giggle in fact I smiled softly towards him.

Mein gott vhy is he cute? He's a guy, guys are supposed to be manly not cute like a little bird or a child.

"Vell...um...I'll be downstairs, I have a decent amount of homework I need to complete and dinner vill be ready soon, oh and also vati said he'll be home early today so I'm sure he'll be glad to hear ju made a new friend bruder," and with that the tiny giant left my room. 

"Homework?..." I turned to see Matthew looking down his violet orbs looking as if trying to remember something with confusion, they soon light up with a wide smile across his pale cheeks as if he found the answer

"I had an art project!" He sounded like he was trying to yell but his voice sounded a normal tone but with joy? Vho gets happy about homevork? I stared at him in confusion but couldn't help but smile as he pulled his folders out his back pack and clicked on a small red mechanical pencil till a small piece of lead showed to allow him to draw on a small sheet of paper.

"Ju draw really good," I watched as his hands moved gracefully as he shading in some details in his drawing, it looked somewhat familiar but I can't recall who it was that he was drawing. The what looks like to be male in his drawing has spiky hair and some head band with a strange symbol on it, vhere did I see zat before?  was all I can think before Matthew brought me back to reality. 

"Th-thanks, I really like anime, and Naruto is my idol I guess you can say so I decided to draw him," Ah, now I know, I believe I heard an old friend say zat name before "Oh awesome, but vhy is an anime character jur idol?" I was curious, I never really watched anime but one of my childhood friends talked about it a lot, I wonder what happened to him. 

"Well...You see, um...Naruto had a hard life growing up and no one really liked or noticed him when he was really young, but he grew up to be like the hero and made his dream come true, and I hope that happens to me someday," 

"Vell?" He looked up from his drawing at me his head slightly tilted. 

"What?" 

"Vhat is jur dream?" He stared at me dumb founded before he looked down slightly playing with his pencil. 

"I uh...I want to be noticed, and to have someone love me, like Alfred...He's oblivious to it but it's obvious this guy in my class, Arthur. Likes him, and Al likes him back, and-" I cut him off by patting his head with a slight push so he looked down more.

"Kesesese~ don't vorry about it Mattie, I'm sure ju vill find love soon, ju are an awesome guy and ju have good looks too~" I smiled brightly at him as I saw his cheeks turn a bright shade of pink, he was cute, like a little girl, or, OR A BIRD! 

"ZAT'S IT!" I yelled exitedly as I pumped my fist in the air scaring the poor guy

"Wh-what's it?" he asked nervously 

"I got a nick name zat only I can call ju!" He looked at me curious for what it was.

"BIRDIE!" 

"Birdie? why that?" 

"Cause ju are cute like vone,and ju are my buddy plus jur hair color reminds me of my old pet bird Gilbird," 

"Gilbird? that's a creative name," He chuckled softly

"H-hey! He vas awesome like me so I needed to give him an awesome name," I pouted once more only to get another chuckle from him, I couldn't help but smile at.
