"Seth? Can I stay at yours for a few days?" I ask my cousin, knowing that he would never turn me away.

"Sure Piper. I'm not home at the moment but Jo is. I will call her and tell her to expect you," he says

I make my way to Seth's house and Jo greets me at the door.

"Hey" she says, looking into my eyes "Holy fuck! What happened to your face?" she asks as she pulls me in for a hug. "Are you OK?"

"I'm sorry," I say, wiping the tears away with the back of my hand.

"Coffee? And a chat?" she asks, heading toward the kitchen. I nod my head and place my bag in the lounge room.

"Are you sure its ok if I stay for a few days?" I ask, looking for Lilly.

"You are family" she says pulling me in for another hug "and Lilly will welcome another person to wrap around her little finger" she smiles proudly

"Where is the little tiger?" I ask

"Sleeping. She should be up soon"

Jo and I sit at the kitchen table and I tell her all about the fight with Jessica and James and I tell her about what happened that night with Matt and his friends and how Harry, Zayn and Louis saved me.

"My God! Why didn't anyone tell us?" she yells "This family sucks," she says as she shakes her head.

"Did you tell Seth any of this?" she asks

"No. I haven't told anyone. Jessica and James have no idea and I would like to keep it that way please" I say sternly "They gave up the right to know anything when they took Matt's side" I say through gritted teeth

"Safe with me" she says shaking her head again.

"Are you having them charged?"

"Yes. Harry and I gave our statements the other day," I offer

"Harry and you huh?" she says, wiggling her eyebrows

"No, nothing like that. We are just friends" I say as the tears begin again.

"Hey" she says moving to me "Its ok...Shhhh"

Seth arrives home a short while later and Jo fills him in on what's been happening.

"Are you ok?" he yells as he comes barreling into the kitchen

"I'm fine Seth," I say as he reaches down and takes me in his arms.

We chat for a while about what happened and how if Harry didn't show up, I don't know what would have happened.

"I need to have a beer with this Harry bloke" he says

"Maybe" is all I give

Seth and Jo agree to let me stay with them as long as I want.

"I will pay you back for this"

"You are family," says Jo while Seth just looks at me and nods.

The next few days fly by and my job hunting continues without success and before I know it, it has been 4 weeks since my attack.

I have made my mind up that I am staying away from the pub for a while. I don't want to see Harry or the lads and I especially don't want to see Harry's new girl.

I spend my time at the library and attending job interviews without any luck.

As I arrive at the station after yet another fruitless visit to the city, I hear the familiar rumble of a Harley. I look up to see Niall heading my way.
