Night fell on the mansion that belonged to Mr and Mrs Diamondburg, at this time of night all you can hear from this house was "children get to bed!", which was often shouted by Mrs Diamondburg. Every night the children would run up to their room and Albert would always hear strange noise coming from the top of the mansion. He would always whisper "did you hear that noise Lucinda?" And she would always reply "hear what?". The reason they had to whisper is because their aunt and uncle always tell them never to talk but they always did. They would always say "do you think they heard us?"

The following day,Mr Diamondburg woke them up at midnight to do their chores. The reason why Mrs Diamondburg didn't help him because she always made excuses like she's got to go and clean the sewers, the truth is she would lock herself in the cellar and drink a lot of alcohol.

On Sunday's, the children would escape from reality, Lucinda would spend this time playing with her brother. One Sunday afternoon, Mrs Diamondburg slapped Lucinda without no explanation. Later that evening, when Mr Diamondburg saw Lucinda's face, he demanded an explanation from his wife, who then confessed all to her shocked husband. Mrs Diamondburg went to go and see their head maid Ms Porthall, without anyone knowing that she had a sharp knife in her pocket and stabbed her to death.

The next day, the children were horrified to see Ms Porthall's lifeless body on the broken attic's floor and shouted for Mr Diamondburg. As soon as he saw the lifeless body, he rang up the hospital and they confirmed that she had passed away due to the injuries that had been given to her by Mrs Diamondburg.
