"A qinggong contest?"

Yi Zaha nods, "I will start together with the executives." He points to the board where he'd drawn the formation of the plan, "I will run at the front, but I will not check whether you're all keeping up with me or not."

Red Monkey raises her hand, "Won't a gap form based on one's qinggong skills then?"

"Probably, but it doesn't matter. We'll go over the Cloud Rain Society's walls in the order of arrival and keep moving. We'll go straight to professor Su's residence."

You hum, scanning the room, already guessing who will be on the front line running alongside Yi Zaha. In this ambush, he will become the lead—the apex and the drill. Even as you reach beyond the walls, the order is to continue running until Professor Su is reached.

Everybody stands, ready for departure.

Yi Zaha's eyes trail to Yoo Sacheong, who has been sat on the furthest end of the meeting room. His clothes are stained with his blood and with dirt, his face is still messed up, and yet he stands readily for battle. Yi Zaha sighs, "The captive is excluded. Sungtae, keep watch on the captive."

"Why should I keep watch on that guy!?" Sungtae rushes after Yi Zaha as he walks toward the door, frustrated.

Dokgo laughs, patting Cha Sungtae's shoulder with one hand, "Good luck, General."

Everyond leaves, leaving teasing remarks toward Sungtae.

"We'll leave it to you General Cha."

"Do your best."

"Watch him well."

"Damn, he's finally pulling his own weight."

The wind is wonderful.

It's wonderful as it brushes against yours cheeks, weaving through the strands of your hair as it flows. Everyone pushes past their limits trying to catch up to the sect leader, who's already dashing past everyone despite giving a lengthy headstart.

Seeing everyone do their best, you can't help but smile—you shouldn't be getting left behind, now should you?

Your eyes zero in on the path forward and you ground your feet into the earth, gathering your qi into your legs before you push and fly towards your juniors who have gotten ahead of you.

With a wave, you're running past your brothers and closing the distance between the two in front of you.

Dokgo and Red Monkey.

Within the fraction of a second, you're in between them, a small smile on your lips. "I never thought I would have the chance to play together with the both of you like this!"

You're reminded of the games of tag you'd play with your little sister mantis—a form of training—she insists, ignoring the other generals who stood idly by the side as they mutter about how it was a waste of time to even do this.

( They quickly realized it was not a waste of time because as they all began to play together, no one could ever catch up to you despite the small, limited space the game is set in. By the end of it, their lungs screamed and their stamina has been pushed to a limit never reached before. )
