Forgiven (A Bucky Barnes love story

Chapter 1

The tree standing in front of me smashed. Three HYDRA agents fell out and Maria and I shot them.
Cap and Thor had left the field we were in to locate the HYDRA base around here. Clint and Natasha were taking care of the other HYDRA agents.
I was the newbie of the group so Maria was here with me.
There was a metal shop next to where I was standing but it contained some farm equipment that was probably used for the field.
To my right was a line of huge trees. Maria and I moved to those trees. She shot a bullet upward and an agent fell out of the tree, still alive.
After we questioned him, we got the base location. It was cloaked and right in front of us. That meant there were thousands of HYDRA agents right in front of us.
Before we could tell anyone, Steve commed in. "Guys, I think I found Bucky."
Maria told me to stay put as she ran of to help Steve. I saw a troupe of HYDRA soldiers headed to where I was hiding. I ran from the trees and hid in a corner of the metal shop. I heard the soldiers pass then slowly came out to see where the team was.
I looked up the hill and saw the dreaded battle of Captain America and the Winter Soldier. The rest of the team was fighting to troupe of soldiers that I hiding from. I heard a helicopter and the team was being evacuated. I wasn't with them. I tried using my comm and the signal was dead. This was it, this is how I have a 0.3333% chance of surviving. I hid back in the corner, beginning to think of an escape plan.
The door to the shop opened and I gasped. The Winter Soldier walked in. He scanned the room, looking for something when his eyes landed on me. He looked surprised for a second then all emotion wiped off his face. He gestured for me to follow him. Out of the fear he was going to kill me, I followed.
Since this was a last minute mission, I wasn't wearing anything that showed I was associated with SHIELD. I was glad for that now. I was walking right behind him and no one questioned him as we entered the HYDRA base. We came to a stop in an empty hallway.
He turned to look at me and smirked. I got confused. "You're the newbie, hun?" He said with a smirk still on his face. I stuttered to attempt to answer that. "I'm going to take that as a yes since you clearly don't know what's going on." He explained. I was still confused. "You are Agent Valora, correct? Agent Hill's trainee?" I nodded. "Good, now to answer all the questions you are to scared to ask. I am the Winter Soldier. You probably knew that due to the fact you are pretty much shaking in fear. This is a plan to recruit any abandoned shield agents. You are Tempest now got it? We know about the storm powers so don't think about using them against us. Anything you try against orders will end in your death. Since Agent Hill is your S.O, you must be good. So would you prefer to behave now or try again later?" I stood up straighter remembering my training. I looked at him and said, "Ready for orders sir." He smirked again and left. I followed him down the hall.

2 months later

I have been stationed as an assistant to the Winter Soldier, which means HYDRA is controlling my every move. I have not been brainwashed but I think it's gonna happen soon.
"Tempest! James!" The boss shouted, "You have a mission. A SHIELD team has been spotted trying to take out one of our teams." He gave us the location and drove us out there. I stepped out of the car and gasped. It was my old team and they looked mad.
James looked at me, which signalled the distraction that I supposed to create. I took a deep breathe and focused. The sky darkened and the wind picked up. A thick fog filled the air. James could see right through it so it made a great hiding place. No one but us can see through it.
James went up behind Clint and Tasha and shot them with an icer. Bruce and Tony weren't here, probably working in their lab. Thor was gone, most likely on Asgard. Steve was trying to see through the fog when I crept up behind him. He noticed I was there and dropped his shield. "Kacey! I thought you were dead!"
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," I said as I shot him with an icer. We got the HYDRA team out safe, then questioned them about what happened. One spoke up and said "They were looking for their friend, she was kidnapped 2 months ago." James looked at me. No one but him knew I came from SHIELD. We returned to our base when he pulled me aside. "Kacey, do you know what this means?" He started, "You could be putting us in danger. You know what we have to do." He looked just as pained as I did. "No please!!" I sobbed. Since I was important to HYDRA, they would only brainwash me. I was too valuable to kill.
