Bruises and Caresses

Chapter 8

Eren turned around to see Levi standing on the corner with a look of serious anger in his eyes. "L-Levi! It's not what you think!" Eren stuttered out. "I would never-"

"Shut it, brat!" Levi snapped. "You.." he mumbled as he began to walk towards Armin. "So, you think it's fun to try and seduce my fiance, huh?" Armin tried to back away. "I-I um.." Eren stepped in front of him. "Levi! Please!" Eren began. "Please don't hurt him, you're mad at me, take your anger out on me!" he pleaded as he tried to block Armin from Levi.

"Step aside, Eren." Levi said in a low and anger voice.

"Levi, please! It wasn't his fault! I would never cheat on you, Levi! You have to believe me..!" Eren exclaimed. 

"Don't raise your voice at me, brat! Now do as I say and get the hell out of my way unless you want your ass beat as well!" Levi threatened as he stepped closer.

"Please, Levi! Lets just go home and forget this ever happened.." Levi ignored Eren's plea and continued to walk closer. "Hit me all you want, just leave Armin out of this!" 

"Don't disobey me!" Levi yelled as he forcefully pushed Eren aside as he grabbed Armin by the wrist and began dragging him around the corner and down the alley way. Armin tried to escape Levi's grip but he was too strong. Once they got to the end of the alley way Levi roughly threw Armin to the ground. "This should teach not to touch what isn't yours.." Levi said with a cold look in his eyes.

Eren soon came running up from behind them. "Levi!" he screamed, "Stop it, please!"

"Get out of here, Eren." Levi demanded, "I'll deal with you at home.."

"No, Levi!" Eren screamed as he ran towards Levi in attempt to stop him. Without a blink, Levi blocked Eren with a forceful punch to the face, knocking him to the ground. "What did I just fucking tell you? Stay the hell out of my way, you little bitch." Levi said as he kicked Eren.

Eren sat on the ground holding his side where he had been kicked. "I won't be as rough with you if you do as I say.." Levi said. "Why don't you be a good little bitch and back home like I told you to.." Levi said with another rough kick. 

"I-I.. C-can't do that.. Levi!" Eren protested.

"Tch. Fine then, have it your way.." Levi replied as he turned around as he violently kicked Armin.

"L-Levi, please! I'm begging you..!" Eren pleaded.

Levi punched Armin roughly, "Have fun watching your best friend get the shit beat out of him." he said with another kick to Armin's side and stomach with a punch to the jaw. Soon Armin was dripping blood from his nose and mouth. Armin tried to stand but would fall back down to the ground from a kick to the stomach. "P-ple.. Pl-please, st-sto- stop.." Armin begged as he chocked on blood. He received yet another violent hit from Levi.

Eren couldn't take it anymore. He wasn't just going to sit and watch his best friend being beaten the shit out of. As much as he feared Levi, he had to do something. Eren slowly rose from the ground, still clutching his aching side. Once he got his balance, he charged towards Levi, knocking him to the ground. Once Levi fell, Eren quickly helped a beaten Armin up off the ground and told him to run while he had the chance. 

"Tch, what the hell do you think you're doing?!" Levi exclaimed as he stood from the ground. Luckily, Armin quickly caught a taxi and was able to get out of there. Eren stood there as he mentally prepared for the worst. I.. I'm sorry Levi.." he said nervously.

Levi began to walk towards Eren, causing him to flinch. Once they were face to face, Eren was expecting a hard slap across his face, but that wasn't what he got. "Were you expecting me to hit you?" Levi asked. 

"Y-yes.." Eren replied, his voice becoming shaky. 

"Hn. I'm not going to hit you.." 

Eren looked at Levi, slightly shocked. "Y-you're not..?" 

Levi shook his head in response. He leaned up to whisper in Eren's ear. "Your punishment is going to be way worse than a beating.."
