It was a hot summer day when the whole Weasley-Potter clan and Teddy Lupin decided to all go to the Burrow for the afternoon.

"Ron, is Hugo dressed yet?" Hermione asked to her husband who was currently helping their 2 year old son get dressed in his favorite Chudley Cannons shirt.

"Yes Hermione" yawned Ron sounding as if he was always being asked these questions.

He walked out of the room to see his beautiful wife and adorable 4 year old daughter wearing shorts and a purple shirt with a hipogriff on the front, her crazy bushy untamable hair (something she had inherited from her mom but it was the fiery red Weasley color just like her Dad and little brother) going everywhere. She grinned up at her father and said "Hello Daddy!"

"Hey Rosie" he smiled down at her he couldn't believe that his baby girl was already 4 years old!

"Then lets go. We don't want to be late. I'll take Rosie and you can take Hugo" said Hermione in her normal know-it all self.

"No, I go with Daddy" yelled Rosie. Hermione smiled and rolled her eyes she had been half expecting this.

"Rosie, why don't you go with your Mummy this time" asked Ron who secretly wanted her to go with him. He craved these moments with his daughter.

"It's ok Ron she's Daddy's little girl and Hugo's Mummy's little man" she said taking Hugo from Ron and tickling him as he laughed and pleaded with his mother to stop which she eventually did.

"Come here Rosie" Ron said as he picked up his daughter and twirled her around as she giggled. "So Rosie are you excited to see your cousins"

"Yes!! I can't wait to pway with Al, I hawen't seen him in 4 days! Can you bewieve it!" She exaggerated holding 4 fingers up in his face.

"That's practically a new record!" Laughed Ron, he put Rosie down and held her hand as they walked downstairs towards the living room to their fireplace.

"Can we go fiwst Daddy! Pwease!!" She begged she could say almost every single word on her first try but she still had trouble with her r's and l's.

"Sure Rosie. Close your eyes." He told her as he picked her up and they climbed into the fireplace. When he told her to close her eyes she instantly turned her face and leaned up against his shoulder. He loved it when she did that it made him feel like he was protecting her. "The Burrow" he said as clearly as possible. He smiled as the green flames erupted around him and his daughter.
