Science Partner

 Chapter 1

I sat in class, bored out of my mind, thinking to myself, WOW! I NEED A FREAKING MONSTER RIGHT NOW! I swear my teacher, Mr. Wode (pronounced wood) has no emotion. I almost screamed when I heard these words come out of Mr. Wode's mouth, " Tomorrow we will be dissecting frogs, so you will get assigned with a random person in this grade for your partner." Aw sweet! I said to myself. This was the best thing that had happened to me since I found that 10 dollar bill on the side walk last month! ( I bought some monsters with it)

After school, I was picked up in my family's limo ( I didn't mention my family super rich) and brought to my mansion in the hills.

I walked in the door and instantly my mom screamed "Hey Josh! How was school!!" (My mom screams so loud you could go deaf!) "Good, i'm dissecting a frog tomorrow with a random person in science!" I screamed back. I heard the washing machine start and mom's heels hitting the dark wood floors. " EW! I think I would PUKE doing that!" My mom said disgusted. "Well didn't you do that when you were in school?" I questioned. " No, I stayed home sick, even though I wasn't even sick. I was like Ferris Bueller! He was my role model back then." I has a 'What are you talking about woman?' look on my face. My mom said'' DON'T TELL ME YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THAT MOVIE! OHHH IT'S SOOOOOOO GOOD!" I chuckled as I walked up the grand stairs and into my room.

After I finished my homework, I logged on to the school website, and I clicked on the choir video, and that's when I saw her for the first time. Ana Smith, a talented singer. I clicked on her page, and I saw she had no followers, and bunch of people commented mean things. I got mad and followed her, and commented on her video: I really like you're singing, you have a true gift. - Josh Ress. I closed the laptop, and I pondered, who will be my partner tomorrow? After that, I fell asleep.

The next day, all I could think about was my partner. Who will it be? Will this person be nice? Well, after all that time, Mr. Wode finally printed the names of the partners on his bulletin board outside his room, and I was in shock that I got paired with Ana Smith! I didn't know what to feel. Just then I heard laughing and screaming. I ran down the hall, and I saw the football team had threw Ana in the trash, and poured Gatorade all over her laptop and her clothes.

I ran and got her out of the trash, and almost cried. They had tore up her pants and shirt. Ana had her face leaned back as I was about to hit her. Instead, I said "Are you OK?" Ana was in shock. "W-What?" Ana said. ''Are you OK?" I said brushing her off. "Yeah. It happens to me all the time. It's OK." Ana gasped. "My laptop! It's ruined!"I looked at it. It was BAD. " It's OK! I'll buy you a new one after school." Ana looked at me. "Really! Thank you! NO ONE has EVER done something this nice for me!" Ana smiled from ear to ear. " Um, I saw your video last night, and you were awesome!" I said. "Thanks. I try!" We both laughed. "Come on, we have a frog to digest."

It was at that moment I knew we would be good friends.
