CHAPTER ONE

"PRISCILLA! LET'S GO!" Simone yelled up the stairs.

"Hold on." I mumbled under my breath knowing she couldn't hear me.

I did one last touch up to my makeup before slipping on my bright blue Doc Martens. I grabbed my phone and hopped down the steps.

Christine was smiling really big along with Jorden, Janette, Amelia, and Simone.

"Can you guys tell me why you're all smiling at me like that?" I asked looking from girl to girl.

"I told you we have a surprise for you." Christine said.

I groaned slumping my shoulders, "I hate surprises."

Christine stuck her tongue out at me before pulling me out the door, "Babe were taking your car!" She called over her shoulder to Logan.

I heard a muffled response from him, assuming it was an 'okay' or 'yes' we all hopped into the black Range Rover and made our way to where ever we were going.

After about 20 minutes of driving we parked outside Starbucks.

We all went into Starbucks and sat down at a circle table with round stools for seats.

"I've been craving Starbucks." Janette said tracing her finger over the table.

"I haven't." I laughed. I worked at Starbucks after school and on the weekends whenever I could.

All the girls except Christine stood up and went over to order.

"So," Christine started. "I am extremely proud of you. After everything you been through you are doing excellent in school and since you have been helping pay for bills and buying all your own stuff I had enough money to get you this."

She reached in her purse and pulled out a iPhone 5 with a pink otterbox case already on it.

"Aww!" I stood up and hugged Christine. "Thank you sooooo much!"

I still had my cracked iPhone 4s, I was planning on getting a new one just not  anytime soon.

"That's not it." Christine smirked and pulled one more thing from her purse.

Car keys.

No way.

She didn't.

Did she really get me a car?

I am going to freak!

"Surprise!" Christine said dangling the car keys.

I shrieked, "OHMYGOD CHRISTINE. THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

Tears of pure happiness were coming out and I just couldn't help it. I had been saving up to get a car.

"But," I wiped the tears, "how did you afford it?"

"Well, Logan chipped in along with all your friends." She pointed to the giggling girls coming over with a variety of drinks in their hands.

"Thank you guys so much. I'm speechless, honestly." A sudden thought occured to me, "What kind of car is it?"

"I thought you'd never ask." Christine laughed standing up and pulling me outside. "Click the unlock button on the keys."

I pressed the small black button and heard a beep. I followed the sound and my eyes landed on a mint green punch buggy. My eyes went wide.

"It's so cute! Ohmygod. I don't- I'm so-" I didn't know what to say. I pulled Christine into a hug and thanked her again.

"I knew you'd love it!" Christine hugged back. "Well, I just brought you here since the girls insisted on giving you your surprise here. I'm gonna head back and spend some one on one time with Logan."
