Author's Note: Please ignore my terrible spelling, even though I'm pretty sure I got the words right... Sorry about how suckish it is and how Ghirahim's part is so short. I got kinda lazy. School and homework is kinda screwing me over too. But I can stay up late every night, hopefully and get chapters somewhat updated. Im not writing about Ghirahim twice inly once in this chapter.

~Skyloft~
The blue-eyed boy cried as he was brought into the world, on a bright sunny day on March 7. It's too bad Link's mother died when giving birth to him and his father died in a battle of keeping demons off the island in the sky at night. "What a beautiful boy! What should we name him?" Peatrice said as she wrapped him up tight in a sky blue blanket, covering everything except his face. The top of his head and the rest of his body was covered."Look how bright and blue his eyes are! We should call him Blue!" Karane said, taking him into her arms. Link fell asleep, comfy as a Loftwing in the Sky. "Pssh... How 'bout we call him Slick?" Henya said, sarcastically. Pipit burst into room and yelled, "How about we call him Link?!" He would've been kicked out right then if it wasn't for the fact that all the women in the room agreed on that name. His sudden disruptment woke up Link and he started crying again. Karane shoved Link into Pipit's arms and said, "Pipit put him in the room we prepared." "H-how do I get him to stop crying?" Pipit stuttered, looking at the baby. Link had stopped crying now and was back to sleeping, when you're only a baby everything is exhausting. Pipit made a face in disgust. "You mean the room across form Groose's. Poor baby." Said Pipit as he walked out of the room. Pipit carefully opened the door opposite of Groose's. "Here we are, little one." He placed Link in the crib, careful not to wake him up. "Knock, knock. Can I come in and meet the new arrival? Or am I to be shunned away in my room like a monster?" Groose said in a slurred voice. He had a half empty bottle in his hand. It was clear that he was drunk. Pipit grabbed Link and held him firmly to his chest. "Groose, you're drunk. I think you should go back to your room, you can meet him once you've sobered up a bit." Pipit said slowly, trying to make sure Groose got the message. Pipit made his way to the door, with Link sound asleep on his shoulder. Groose blocked the exit of the room. "Groose, I don't have time for this. Let me out." Pipit said as he shoved the drunkard out of the way. I ran upstairs to the headmasters study, Gaepora, and hid behind the desk. Lucky for me he wasn't there. I could hear Groose's uneven stepping on the stairs. It suddenly stopped for a split second, until he burst into the room. The disturbance woke Link and he began crying. "Where are you, Pipit? I know you're in here I can hear the baby!" Groose shouted angrily. He ran behind the desk to see a frightened Pipit holding a crying Link. "Pipit, why can't I hold him?" Groose said with a sudden change of attitude. Pipit could've sworn that he was bipolar. Pipit answered calmly, "Groose, you reek of alcohol. I'm pretty sure that's not good for a newborn baby." But Groose insisted on holding Link. He reached out his arms and snatched the tiny Link from Pipit. "Coo-chee-coo-chee-coo!" Groose said in a baby voice. Pipit, on the other hand, was freaking out. He snatched Link back from Groose. "Pipit, give me back the baby or I'm gonna make you wish you were in hell." Pipit had had enough of this. "GROOSE! YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE HERE THAT SOMEHOW MANAGED TO DRAG OUR ACADEMY'S NAME THROUGH THE MUD!" Pipit leaned against the wall and slid down the wall slowly with Link still in his arms, but he had calmed down. Just like everyone else in the room needed to. Groose stomped over to Pipit, but lucky for Pipit and Link, Gaepora chose that moment to walk in from speaking with Professor Owlan and Horwell about repairs to the academy. "Groose! What are you doing to these poor children?" Gaepora said, punishing him. "I-I-I just wan-" "No Groose you can't hold newborn baby. He's supposed to meet Knight Academy personnel ONLY." Gaepora said, dissatisfied with Groose's behavioral problems. "But, Headmaster, I am part of the academy..." Groose whined. "No, you're not. Well at least not any more." Gaepora said, folding his arms. That sobered him up and he nearly jumped ten feet in the air. Gaepora shoved him out of the door to his study. "And don't come back!" He yelled as he slammed the door behind Groose. Pipit sighed in relief and stood back up. "Thank you Headmaster." Pipit said. "No, thank you. You're the only one who was brave enough to tell me about it." Gaepora said. Pipit was silent. "So..." Gaepora started, "Can I hold it?" Pipit handed Link to him. Gaepora unwrapped Links tight blanket from around Link's head and was shocked at what he saw. "What's this?" He asked Pipit. Pipit was stunned and shocked. Link didn't have human ears. He had a pair of small, gray wolf ears. "How could this be? There were no Hylians on the island since about two hundred years ago!" Gaepora said. Pipit hunched his shoulders at the remark his Headmaster made. "Maybe it was destiny that brought him here." Pipit guessed. Gaepora wasn't impressed with his answer. Gaepora sat down at his desk and scribbled something down on a piece of paper. He then folded the page and handed it to Pipit. "Pipit take this and give it to Professor Owlan." Gaepora handed it to Pipit and shoved him out of the room. Pipit sighed as he opened the door to Professor Owlan's room. "Hello, Professor Owlan?" Pipit said, gloomily. "Yes, Pipit?" Owlan answered. He was reading a book and was engrossed in it, but he looked up anyway. "Headmaster told me to give these to you." Pipit said, handing Link and the page to Owlan. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Owlan said, fiddling with Link's gray wolf ears. He placed the sleeping boy on the bed and opened the note. Owlan nodded his head, solemnly. "Dear, Goddess. This is a predicament. I don't know what to say." Owlan said. "Well Pipit, I'll let you decide on what to do with him." Owlan said as he eyed Link. "Do we keep him or do we send him to the surface?" Owlan asked. Pipit didn't even think about his answer when he shouted, "KEEP HIM!" Owlan smiled warmly and said, "But, Pipit, where will he stay?" "There's a room already made up for him. I'll even stay in Groose's old room until he's old enough to be on his own." Pipit risked. "Even though it smells heavily if alcohol in there." Pipit whispered. "Alright. It's done. We'll keep Link, I think, for about three or four years." Owlan said. Pipit couldn't be more happier. He picked up Link and practically skipped down the stairs. "Pipit what are you so happy for?" Karane asked, smiling herself. "No reason!" Pipit said as he beamed at Karane. He opened the door happily and placed Link in the crib. Link was still awake was still awake, but he was nodding off. Pipit sat down on the floor in front of the crib. "I don't think anyone would mind if I slept here, even if its just for one night." Pipit said to himself. He yawned quietly careful bit to disturb the sleeping child. Soon after he fell into a deep sleep.
