I picked up the apple and held it gingerly. I had never been so hungry in my life. When I sunk my teeth in to it's red flesh, my health instantly regened.
"Ahh thats much better." I whispered to the trees. Suddenly I felt as if I was not alone in the lonley forest.
"Hello?" I called out, from what I had seen in this world, this presence couldn't be that bad.
"Daayyiissyy..." A wispy voice called out, travling on the wind, as light as air.
"Come here, I won't hurt you." It sditled into the clearing, just enough for me to see Steve's tanned hand in the sunlight.
"Steve! Don't you ever scare me like that again!" I scolded. The "creature" let out a deep laugh.
"But you should have seen your face!" He yelled out, still in the darkness.
"Do you want to attrack creepers?!" I whisper yelled, getting angry with my long time friend.
"Hey, would you come out here and talk to me? What are you, Herobrin?" I let out a nervous laugh. Ever since Morganne was taken, making jokes about him were taken hard. Steve had a long-time crush on her and had finally worked up the strength to tell her her how he felt. The whole forest grew quiet.
"Why don't you come to me." He said back, after a long pause. I was starting to get scared. Steve had never acted so mysterious before.
"Come on, um, It's getting darker." I spoke in a very quiet voice, slowly I started to lose the power in my words.
"Oh, Daisy, There is much you don't know." Steve's voice slowly began to change, turining into a creature again. It was fully dark know, and I already knew the mistakes I had made. 'He" had stalled until it was night so he wouldn't burn in the sun. I turned to run, but a cold hand already suffocated my wrist.
"Your coming with me." My heart sped up and I closed my eyes, unprepared for the journey that was soon to follow.
The next time my eyes opened, I was in his lair. I was in a dark cell, iron door locked The walls were lined with vines that if I found the right place, I could climb up and out of. Beside me, was a long hallway, lined with doors, all reading death options. At the end of the way, two iron doors stood, with a sign reading, 'THE MASTER'S ROOM.' I grunted. Herobrine was so full of himself.
"Would you be quiet?" He called, his voice regular, not as s.cary. The doors flung open, and he flew out. I couldn't help noticing his eyes as they sparkled in the dark.
"I'm just trying to decide your fate. It won't be long!" He laughed. His laugh rang out, tinkling my ears. Why was I noticing this? I rolled my eyes any way. The trick to getting out of here was acting ignorent, at least, that's what I thought it should be. Of course, no one ever made it out, but maybe, I would be the first. He noticed my silence and I rubbed my hands on my jeans, acting like I didn't notice. He stided up to my cell. I looked up now, our eyes meeting. Suddenly, in a flash, his eyes stopped burning. He looked like a regular Steve, only, different. Herobrine unlocked the door, still holding my glance. This time, when he grabbed my hand, his skin was warm and inviting. It was hard not to look away.
