malcolm wants nothing to do with his mother. she is high demanding, very strict, powerful.. and he? he is sweet, caring and has always wanted to go to school. malcolm has a very big heart unlike his mom's which is very very tiny. he's corny and weird and really just wants to make friends but never can because everybody has warned their children about the great and evil maleficent's son, obviously. that's why he finds it quite sad to see all the kids run away from him in terror.
