I looked out the of window as I saw a rabbit run over the front lane of our garden, while I kept chewing on my tomato sandwich that I made for myself as a late night snack. It was nearly eight and I was waiting for my boyfriend to get home. As usual he was late and all I was thinking about was how I was going to confront him when he got home. He was two hours late as usual and I had dinner ready to six o'clock. The only thing I've heard from him was a quick message on my answering machine about that he promised to hurry up.
The front door opened and I just went ice cold inside. I walked out in the hallway and just like he was blind and didn't feel my presence, he walked up the stairs to the bathroom. I took my hand at the red, shiny handle on the stairs.
As fast as I could, I ran up the fifteen steps. I was not letting him out of this now. This was the end. I couldn't handle more.
"Are you really going to do this?" I screamed across the second floor of our apartment.
"What do you mean? What did I do now?" He asked in confusion.
"Oh, please. Sometime soon you have to start to act like your exact age Zayn." I said and sat down on the soft bed of ours.
"I wonder who the childish person in this relationship is, Reflin." He said and unbuttoned his coat that he was still wearing.
"I'm sick of this okay. This is like the third time this happens in a month. I know you're in a band and I know you have a lot to do. But don't you think I want you to be home at the time you say? When you at least are home and I can spend time with you?" I said and took a pause to clear my throat. "I love you with all my heart but sometimes I'm just tired okay? I hang out with my co-workers all day, have a lunch with my friends sometimes, because sometimes they have lunch with their boyfriends. And when they ask me who I'm eating lunch with that day, do you know what I say?" I said and once again took a pause to look up to see his sad face.
"What do you say?" He said, mostly to be polite, but also to make me continue.
"I say that I'm eating by myself, because you, my own boyfriend, can't have lunch with me, ever!" A tear went down my chin and I wiped it away with the back of my hand.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know you felt that way Reflin. You know this relationship isn't always about you okay? You know you have to ask if you want to eat lunch okay?" He said and opened the black suitcase.
Was he leaving me? This was just one of our useless fights. Everyone was having fights in relationships right? And we clearly couldn't end it like this. Because if we ever broke up. I wanted him as a friend. He was my best friend, my better half, my soul mate and the love of my life. I still remember how we met.
*FLASHBACK*
I looked down at my timetable; my first class was starting at 2 o'clock, so I could work for another two hours. This job wasn't my usual. I only made my uncle a deed, he needed a worker until the lunch hour was over at his café.
"Reflin can you take the orders while I clean up the empty tables?" My cousin Samantha asked and walked over to a empty table to take care of the dishes.
"Okay I'll do that."
The door opened and immediately my eyes were locked at the door and tried to identify the five guys that walked in. And the boy with black hair walked over to the desk, where I was standing.
"I'd like to order three black coffees, one latte and one milkshake, to go please." He said and started to go through his wallet to find money.
"That's 16, 75 sir." I said and looked up.
He handed me the money and I counted the money and got startled when I saw a paper piece in the collection of money.
"I'm sorry sir but you accidently slipped this with the money." I said and looked into his eyes and handed him the paper piece. It was just that he didn't take it. "Sir" I said once again and he just gave me a smirk.
