The Best and Worst Day

Mimi's P.O.V.  I wake up and find myself on the Simpson's couch. Wait. How did I get here? All I remember is coming back here after JC's then just darkness. I get up and see a note on the coffee table next to the couch.

Hey Mimi, I came back to apoligze to you, but I saw you alseep on the floor. You looked so cute, and I didn't want to move you, but I carried you to the couch. See you soon!

Aww Cody is so sweet. Actually, forget I said that. I like Christian. Don't I?   

I finallly find my phone under the couch after about a half hour looking for it. I see two new texts:

Katelyn: Hey gurll! I found out we are having a talen show at school! You totally have to sing!

I decided not to reply to that one. I really dont like singing in front of a crowd. The radio was fine because there wern't as many people. But crowds. Oh no.

Cody: Hey babe, hope you had sweet dreams (:

I replied to Cody's;

Me: Lol thanks, when are you leaving today?

Cody replied instantly. I wonder if he was just waitng for me to text back. 

Cody: 4pm why?

Me: Maybe me you and Alli can hang like old times?

Cody: Sure! We'll be over real soon bye! (:

Ok don't judge me. Why can't I be friends with Cody even though he has a crush on me? I know I went on a date with Christian but I just see Cody as a friend, best friend. 

Ten minutes later I hear the doorbell and the door burst open. It was Cody and Alli!  "Mimi!" I hear Alli scream as she runs towards me giving me a hug! 

"Alli!" I scream back at her!

"Cody!" Cody says mocking us. We all burst out laughing.

"So what is going on with you and Christian hmmm?" Alli says to me. I see Cody start walking away. 

"Um, Alli lets talk about this later." I reply. Then I hear the doorbell ring again. I rush and open the door. It's Christian.  He gets down on one knee. Oh no. I am not getting married at age 14. I am to young, but I will probably get my own TV show if I say yes.

"Mimi," I hear him start, "Will you be my girlfriend?"  Omg. I turn around and see Alli jumping up and down like a maniac. I didn't see Cody, and I am hoping he is still in the kitchen.

Alli screams, "Say yes you idiot!" 

"Okay, yes!" I say as he jumps up and gives me a hug! Then I hear Cody's voice. 

"What the hell are you doing here, at my house? he says sternley. 

"Um, well. See you later Mimi!" he yells as he dashes off. I turn around and see Cody furious.  "What was that son of a bitch doing here?" He asks me.

"Well Cody, he kind of asked me to be his girlfriend..." I say looking at the ground. 

"He what!" He says throwing his snapback at the ground. "Im going to my room. Don't disturb me!"

  Cody's P.O.V.

Im so mad and sad at the same time. She obviosly does not like me. When I am in love with her with all my heart. And now she's his girlfriend! He's just going to break her heart! Then she will come crying back to me. She doesn't deserve the pain! She has already so much pain in her life. I heard a knock on the door.

"Cody? Are you okay?" It was Mimi. She knocked again.

"Yeah. Come in!" She walked in and sat next to me on my bed. "Cody, are you alright?" Mimi asked me. How could I tell her that I was in love with her and she should break up with her boyfriend.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little upset." "Cody, your eyes are all watery, were you crying because of me?" I sighed.

"Um, kinda, I know I shouldn't be. I have to man up and get over you." I said sadly.

"Get over me? Is that a way saying you don't want to be my friend anymore?" Mimi started crying. God, I'm such a bad friend!

"No! That's not what I meant! I mean like maybe if I could get some space I could think this over!" I screamed at her.

"What?! You want space and you haven't seen me in a whole year and you want space?! I don't want to see your face ever again!" She screamed as she ran downstairs bawling.

That came out so wrong. If only she could listen to what I really want to say. Then we wouldn't be fighting right now. Then I took out my song book out of the closet and wrote a song.

Mimi's P.O.V.

Well it was pretty obvious that Cody didn't want to be my friend anymore, or by any means like me anymore. I miss the old Cody, the boy who was a star swimmer and had no cares. We both liked each other back then. We were like girlfriend and boyfriend but we were kids. It didn't really count.

Then everything changed. He seemed like he started liking girls his own age. I felt like I was such a pest to him. Then they moved away. That was the worst day of my life! And now I feel like I am a pest again. A little while ago he found out my mom abuses me. Then he texted me every night asking me if I was okay and unhurt. I would always lie to him. But they never visited me. They lived so close, but never came home.

I locked myself in the bathroom. I could hear Alli screaming at Cody! Then I heard footsteps. "Mimi? You in there?" I heard Alli say.

"Yea, I am. Come in!" I said as I unlocked the door. She sat down next to me.

"I'm sorry about Cody, he can be such an ass sometimes! He wouldn't even let me inside his room! But through the crack I could see he had his song book out. Get ready for a song about you to be a hit." Alli said.

"But I don't want a song to be about me! All of his fans will be like "Omg they are so in love!" and I have a boyfriend already! I replied. 

"Mimi, you know most of his songs are about you, right? She asked me. I was stunned. 

"N-no. Wait what! That's not possible We haven't even seen each other in so long. How could he still like me?"

 "Mimi, Cody is an odd child. Who even knows what goes on inside his head. The only thing I understand is that he likes you. A lot." 

Right then I heard my phone buzz;S

Katelyn: Hey you up for something tonight? 

Me: Of course! Whatcha wanna do?

Katelyn: How bout the mall! My dad just gave me money (; meet me there at 6

Me: ok see ya 

I heard someone walking down the stairs. It was Cody. He glanced at me the looked away quickly. "Alli lets go. Mom wants us home early! C'mon!" he said. Alli ran after him and gave me a shy wave as she walked out the door. It is 2pm and I have 4 hours till going to the mall. I decided to check twitter.

I saw Cody tweeted  "Get ready for a new song angels and gentelman #GuitarCry" So he did write a song. I noticed I had tons of mentions! @cody_4_lyfe: @themimiclark are you and @codysimpson dating?  I decided to reply to get things clear. @cody_4_lyfe No, me and Cody are just friends. Maybe even a little less right now. 

Cody is probably going to kill me for that. 

I wake up seeing its 6pm. Crap I'm late. I'm dead. I grab my phone, rush out the door, and ride to the mall on Alli's bike.
