I met him the day I turned nineteen. I had been walking down the street and accidentally ran in to him when I was texting my friend Miranda. This is how it went:
I was about to send the text when I crashed into something firm. I fell back on my butt, wincing as I felt the cold snow underneath me. "Oh, sorry." Came a male voice, and a hand reached down to help me up. I go to my feet and looked up. Awe filled me. He was gorgeous, with short, dark brown hair and electric blue eyes that could make a girl faint. I struggled for words, so I just said a polite "Sorry." And moved on, walking towards my house. I felt the burning sensation of being watched, but ignored it. I unlocked the door and walked in. "Hey mom I'm home!" I called, closing the door behind me and walking into the kitchen. I brushed off the feeling of being watched, and I now didn't feel the burning sensation. "Hi honey, how was school today?" My mother asked, rushing around the kitchen. "Good." I answered, watching her curiously. "What are you doing?" I asked, pulling down the hood of my dark grey sweatshirt. "The family are coming over tonight, remember? I'm cooking a big chicken and a bunch of other stuff." My mom answered as she hurried around to get things in the oven and a lot of other things I didn't understand. I shrugged and walked up to my room to do my homework. For half an hour I couldn't do any work, all I could think about was that guy. One question kept popping up.
Who is he?
