Violet's Endeavor

City Lights

Hi. My name is Violet Marie Martinez. I'm 19, I live in Scranton, Pa. In order for you to understand how I got to where I am, maybe I should start at the beginning, where it all started.
~Past Tense~
Of Mice and Men is blaring in the background as I sit in the bathroom on the toilet with my ol' trusty friend. My razors. "Hey bitch! Open the door you emo freak! Nobody loves you!" As the yelling commences, I slowly drag the razor across my wrist, arms, and thighs multiple times letting their words fill my head with thoughts. My phone keeps vibrating but I dont answer. Tears brim my eyes as I pass out from exhaustion and stress

~Present Tense~

(In the bathroom rinsing out hair dye) ANNNND I'M WHITE! IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY GREAT. I say to my 18 year old self. My piercings, my tattoos, and just everything. I'm going to a Motionless in White concert tonight. Their with Beartooth and Of Mice nd Men. It's gonna be a good night!
(At concert)
Im front row with BACKSTAGE nd VIP
During MIW's set:
Their playing City Lights, and I can't help but sing every word as tears stream from my face. I swear I saw Chris' face look over mine but my vision is too blurry. "We've loooossst itttt" I sang now full on tears.
OM&M set: when you cant sleep at night, belting my voice crying again. Their entire SET I swear I couldnt stop the tears. And I KNEW Austin looked at me. That was hard to miss. He basically stopped singing yano. When the crowd sings. And just kept looking at me... Making it look like he was listening to the crowd. And when beartooth came on.... That man. That holy hell. In Between and Beatten In Lips really hit me. Those were the songs I cried the most. It was emotional. And I still have backstage. This is gonna be terrible.

~Back Stage~

Chris Cerulli's POV:
"Hi thank you yeah haha hope you enjoyed the show yah we're probably going for wings after this, can ya blame us though? Haha" My thoughts had been on that girl. The one singing the lyrics oh so well from memory to precision to pitch and tone, yet crying at the same time almost the whole way through we've lost it started crying severely. ...I wonder why that song means so much. I heard she cried for other bands songs too. All three actually. I heard her over everyone else tbh. Girl got some chords man. And dammmn she is gorgeous. That Violet hair. Gotta atleast talk to her. Let's make that a point on my bucket list for today.
