Chapter 3 - Out Of Order

-= Mike's P.O.V =-

I jump forward and grabbed the girl's arm and yanked her out of the way before Foxy glitched and his head snapped forward to where the girl was once standing.

"Whoa, what the huh?!" The girl exclaimed as she saw Foxy glitch out. Foxy was now thrashing around and biting at the air.

I heard one of the waiters shout something and several staff members ran over to Foxy. They somehow managed to shut him off without injuring themselves and pulled a curtain around him. They hung an 'Out of Order' sign on the front.

I turned to look at the girl. I didn't realize until now that I had my arm draped over her shoulders. I quickly pulled my arm away in embarrassment.

"Oh! S-sorry!" I apologized quickly in case I offended her.

"It's okay." She turned to look at me. She had brown eyes that sparkled and rosy cheeks. When she smiled, I noticed her braces.

"Are you okay?" I asked her softly.

"Yeah, I'm okay!" She said cheerfully. She was like a bundle of energy! I smiled back at her. "But what was Foxy going to do?" She asked. I sighed.

"Foxy was going to..." It hurt to say it. "He was going to bite into your head and... And... Take a chunk of your brain with it..." I started to tear up.

No Mike... Stay strong for this girl...

"Oh... Sorry I asked... I didn't know..." She said.

"No, it's okay." I blinked the tears away from my eyes. "I'm fine."

"Okay." She looked at me with those deep brown orbs of hers...

"U-um..." All I could do was just look deep in her eyes. I was about to get lost in them, until I snapped back to reality.

"U-uh, sorry..." I looked away and awkwardly rubbed the back of my neck.

"So... What's your name?" She asked. I sighed. I thought she'd never ask.

I fixed my beanie and stood straight.

"The name's Mike!" I said, holding out a hand. I felt it suddenly get awkward for me until she grabbed my and shook it.

"My name's Mabel!" She said cheerfully. "But you can call me the girl of your dreams..." She said, leaning toward me and batting her eyes. I blinked, shocked and I suddenly forgot how to breath. I blushed and she playfully shoved me.

"I'm joking!" She laughed. I awkwardly laugh along too.

Geez... I thought she was being serious... Gah! Keep it together, Mike!

"So what do you want to do now?" I asked.

"Oh! I wanna introduce you to my brother!" Mabel exclaimed.

"Great! I-" She interrupted me.

"Let's go!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me along. I blushed a little at the fact that she was holding my hand and followed her.

-= Dipper's P.O.V. =-

The bear called Freddy turned to stare at me. I shuddered. That's not creepy at all... But seriously, how do people find these things kid-friendly and cute? Freddy let out a low pitched laugh and turned away. I could clearly see the endoskeleton's teeth when he laughed. I also had found out that the bunny's name was Bonnie and the duck's name was Chica.

I stared at the duck's mouth. The thing had teeth. Teeth. I'm pretty sure that ducks don't have teeth. Or bibs. 'Let's Eat!' Let's eat what? Unsupervised children or pizza?

"Dipper, Dipper, Dipper!!!" I turn to see Mabel running towards me with a boy with a beanie and a sweatshirt.

"Mabel, if you're going to introduce me to another one of your boyfriends then make it quick. I'm a little busy at the moment." I said boredly.

"Yeah, I know but this one's different, Dipper!" Her voice turned into a whisper. "He saved my life..." She put on her puppy eyes and I couldn't resist.

"Okay, okay fine!" I laughed.

"So is this your brother?" The boy asked.

"Yes! This is my twin brother, Dipper!" Mabel said. She really looked like she had her hopes up for this one. But then again... She always has her hopes up when it comes to boys...

"Dipper, this is Mike. Mike, this is Dipper." She introduced us with a grin.

"Um... Nice to meet you..." Mike said, awkwardly holding out a hand to shake.

"Yeah... " I took his hand and shook it.

It looked like Mike was going to say something but I heard Gruncle Stan calling for us.

"Hey, Mabel, I think I hear Gruncle Stan calling us." I said.

"Gruncle Stan?" Mike repeated.

"Yeah! He's our great uncle!" Mabel said. "Wanna have pizza with us?"

Mike immediately brightened up at the thought.

"O-okay!" He said. "I'll go ask my mom!" Mike ran off.

Wait... Was he actually... Blushing?

Mabel snapped me out of my thoughts.

"C'mon, Dipper!" She said, grabbing my hand and half dragging me towards our table.

Sorry for the lack of updates! I'm currently having writer's blocks and school is starting to be a pain and consumes so much if my precious time that I should be using to write stories for you guys! So I apologize for any delayed updates on my stories! I WILL TRY to produce more ideas and make more updates to all of my stories! And again I apologize for the inconvenience! Sorry!
