And I'm sorry that this is late. I was kinda bumming around on YouTube (OMG, Adam Lambert is HAWT!) and lost track of time. So I didn't start writing properly until 10:30PM or so.
I'm so sorry!!!!!!!

Gabela's room >>
He was worried. Gabela had never broken down like this before. She had never just locked herself up and given up on life. Not even after the breakout, when hundreds of wolves she had known had died or had been left behind in living death. She held her head high (both of them) and howled on.
But she had never acted like this before. Ella was strong. Ever since he had known her, he knew that no female could be more perfect for him. She had forced him to stop acting like a spoiled, conceited pup and more like a Beta should. Now it was his turn to snap her out of her stupor.
He had some clue why she was acting like this, even if Gabela didn't. It was because Blitz was her mate. He knew it the instant they saw one another, and it had his wolf howling in protest. Gabela was theirs. Not his former Alpha's. But he had seen the undeniable spark kindle in her golden eyes, and seen her human's brown eyes light up when the wolf Changer had laid eyes on Blitz.
He snarled low in his throat, and a Pack female, a pup a little thing, just over the shifting age, scampered out of his way as he thumped angrily towards Ella's quarters. He had seen Gabela's resistance melt away as Blitz held her in his arms.
His hackles rose. How could she not be his mate? They were perfect for one another. Instead, Lupus made Blitz her mate. He bared his teeth in anger. Why? Was Lupus so cruel as to make his Ella mate Blitz?
And he had known that it might happen one day. The thought of her with the blond Alpha, lying in his arms, being Blitz's Luna and eventually bearing heirs? It made his heart constrict in his chest to the point when he thought that he was going to die. She was his. Not Blitz's. His. He was the one who had supported the insurgencies that always occured during the creation of a new Pack.
He was the one in whom Gabela confided. In whom she depended on for information. And he had witheld the information he knew about lifemates form her because he had hoped that she would never find hers, and that they would mate. Because it was only a matter of time before Gabela realized he had loved her since he had first saw her in that hellhole.
"Tyrone!" he stopped and turned, eyes flashing. It was a Changer daughter of Yur, named Sarai. He remembered her because she was the second-most beautiful of all the Changer females. She was about Gabela's age, with silky blonde hair that cascaded down her slender back.
"Sarai," he said stiffly. "What is the problem now?" Ella often complained (under her breath) that Sarai enjoyed causing trouble for her more than anything else in the world. Sarai flipped a long lock of her hair over one slender shoulder and sniffed. Her clones mimicked her, flipping thair hair back over their shoulders.
"Nothing." she retorted, moving closer. she ran a hand down his chest, trailing his fingers over his muscles. "I just wanted to have a private...talk...with you now that Alpha is gone." His electric-blue eyes narrowed.
"I shall pass," Tyrone said curtly. "I must conduct some business with-wait. Did you say Alpha is gone?" Her lush lips, painted scarlet red, curved into a smile. She crossed her arms, pushing her breasts up so that they practically fell out of her skimpy, low-cut halter top.
Disgusting. He had to force himself not to wrinkle his nose as the luscious, overbearing scent of her arousal wafted to his nostrils. So the pass-around thought she could seduce the Beta? He grabbed her chin in one hand and forced her head up so she would meet his eyes. "What did you say?" He hissed. "Alpha is gone?"
She pouted. "If we could have a private talk, I'll tell you all that I know." His eyes flashed.
"Tell me." She huffed.
"I don't have to tell you anything if I don't want to. Neither you or Alpha have Commands." Her luscious lips parted in a smirk, and she jerked her chin out of his hands, returning to running her hands down his body.
Sarai had a plan. She would mate with him and become pregnant. It would force him to make her his mate and the female Beta of the Pack. There was no other way to elevate her low status as the pass-around.
Then all she would have to do is kill Gabela, the meddlesome Alpha, and her bloodline would rule the Mist Rock Pack for the rest of eternity. The thought made her smile. She could see it now. Sarai would sink her fangs into Alpha's neck and watch as she bled to death. And she would do it with a smile.
He seized her face this time, and lowered his to her ear. "Tell. Me." He impressed the Beta Command on her. He was the son of a Beta in a Beta rank-did she really think that he would not have a Command? Sarai flinched and bit her lip. "Quietly." He ordered.
Sarai looked like she had swallowed something sour. "Alpha isn't..." her nose wrinkled as she tried not to tell Tyrone her important information. "Here. She's been gone since yesterday. The omegas who brought her food every day went in the room and she was gone. Her window was open and her scent disappeared out the window." Tyrone pushed her chin away roughly, and Sarai stumbled.
Her friends caught her and immediately began fussing over her mussed hair and smeared makeup. Tyrone whirled, but then he remembered, and turned back to Sarai. "Tell nobeast about this." He stalked towards Ella's room, leaving the sobbing girl in his wake.
Several pairs of angry eyes followed him, and he turned his head towards them and snarled before continuing on his way. He took the stairs three at a time, his long legs eating up the distance between him and Gabela's quarters.
He flung open the elaborate black maple doors, carved with intricate wolves. Gabela's wolf form had been painstakingly carved into the center of the doors, and when the opened, it was split in half. Her wolf stared out accusingly form the door, her topaz eyes cool and calm. The perfect likeness of Ella.
At least, Ella when she wasn't near Blitz. Then her eyes heated with desire, her pulse spiralled out of control and she became shy. Almost coquettish. Flirty. And her eyes, those deep eyes, filled with pain and sorrow, become lighter. As if she was happy.
Gabela was never happy. Is never happy, he corrected himself. She may smile, but the gesture was hollow. And the fact that Blitz, the spoiled and entitled son of Alpha Saul, the greatest Alpha to rule the Deep Forest Pack made her feel like that ripped a snarl from his throat.
He marched into the room. Ella's room was empty. The window with the window seat was open, the black curtains fluttering in the wind. He stood in the center of the doorway, just staring.
Empty. The lower level in the top right corner of the room was where her bed was? Empty. The sheets were thrown back, and when he thumped down the black steps and touched the sheets, they were cold. She had been gone for a while.
He ran over to the window, leaping up onto the higher part of the floor. Tyrone touched the impression in the seat. it was cold too. He bit his lip and leaned out the window, seeking her scent.
There! It was faint, but it definitely was there. He thrust his body out of the window and landed in a crouch. He shifted, his clothes tearing, into his wolf and put his nose to the ground. There. Her scent. It always reminded him of caramel.
It was rich and heavy. She was close to her heat, then. When a female found her life-mate, a special heat would be initiated. Gabela was mated to an Alpha. It would affect every male in the vicinity. His lips curled back in a snarl. Ella was his. He would kill any male who tried to mate her. The only problem was Blitz.
He followed her scent like a hound dog, nose to the ground, tail up. Her scent was strongest at the base of a tree. Blitz's scent mingles with hers. His eyes flashed. "He has her," Tyrone hissed. "He has Ella." He turned towards his old Pack's territory and set off at a ground-eating lope.
The werewolf town was in chaos as he tore down the streets, slavering and howling, snapping at any wolf who got too close. Tyrone's paws thudded on the streets. Alpha's house. That's where she would be.
His Gabela, the most beautiful, strongest female he knew.
His mate.
Not Blitz's.
His.
