Chapter One

Her long black hair was done into curls, her lips covered by a red matte lipstick, her perfectly curved body was hidden behind a beautiful maroon dress. Shaping only her waist then falling down to her feet.

I look beautiful , she thought to herself. Slowly, she got up and walked to her Mother's room, where she saw her Father hugging her Mother from behind.

I want that, she thought to herself again. She cleared her throat. Her Mother and Father turning around to see their daughter.

" Happy birthday Mother " she said smiling and walking to hug her. Just like every time they have hugged, her Mother squeezed her, putting her head into her daughters neck.

" Oh sweetheart, thank you so much " her Mother replied. They broke away from the hug, her Father coming next to them.

" You look lovely, my dear " her Father spoke to her. She smiled big, loving how her Father's voice made her more confident.

" You look handsome as well " She replied. She was very polite, just like her parents. Her Father nodded smiling. Her Mother looking at him with so much love and care.

How did I get so lucky ? She spoke to herself yet again. She was glad her Mother and Father are still married, for twenty years, just like how old she is.

She found it hard to believe that her Father married her Mother when she was 18 and he was 20. But they had no choice.

Her Mother got pregnant with her at that age, his family furious over the fact their son got a girl pregnant, a girl that doesn't belong to his class.

But he loved her, deeply. He went against his parents, marrying her. The wedding they had was small, only his friends came.

Her mother had no friends nor a family. She wasn't very social, still isn't. She didn't have a maid of honor.

Her father on the other side, had two older brothers, one sister, and was very social. All tho he had many people, he only felt like himself around one girl.

Madison Precious Emerald, that what her real parents wrote in the note when dropping their baby in front of the orphanage.

However, it never bother her, the fact her parents didn't want her. Because when God takes, God gives. And he gave her a loyal husband and a perfect daughter. She couldn't
ask for more.

They made their way out of the house, making sure to lock every door and window before leaving. Turning off the lights as well.

Sitting behind in the car, she couldn't help but wonder how her Mother looked so beautiful in the dress she is wearing. She loves how her Mother took care of her body after pregnancy, her Father helping her.

It amazed her how a 38 years old women had such a great body, with the right curves and features. She also was amazed at her Father who wasn't so bad himself. Both of them taking care of their body to please the other half.

" It's your birthday, can't your friends dinner wait, Father ? " She was annoyed at the fact they are going to a business dinner with one of her Fathers friends, who recently got out of a trial, her Father was his lawyer.

" He wants to thanks me for staying by his side and believing him. After all, he did nothing wrong " Her Father spoke confidently, loving what he does for a living. He always found joy in defending those who can not defend themselves.

" But didn't you tell him it's my Mother's birthday ? " She pushes further. Like her Mother, she didn't like meeting new people, unless they were hurt and in need of her help, after all, that's what her Mother and her do for a living. Her Mother a doctor and she's about to when she graduate this year.
