Okie dokie, all rights to ABC Family, blah blah blah, here is part two, blah blah blah. If you want the description go back to Part 1. Oh, and I forgot to mention that this was a prompt from thatwriterchickgirl, so thanks!
Kirsten paced in Maggie's office, waiting for her secretive boss. She couldn't figure out why she had been called here, and she didn't feel like finding out. All she wanted to do was go home and sleep off any residual emotion she still had from her latest stitch.
Maggie finally entered the office, motioning for Kirsten to sit down. She sat down in her own chair, staying silent for a moment before looking up at the blonde. "We have a problem," she stated simply.
"Okay. What is it? And you couldn't have just told me over the phone?"
"I couldn't risk the two of us being overheard."
"Then tell me now."
Maggie paused, sighing before continuing. "The program is believed to be compromised. We need to get you as far away from it as possible." At first, Kirsten couldn't speak. Leave L.A? Leave the program?
"What do you mean?"
"We've already made you a fake identity and given you a location to go to. You'll be expected to say goodbye and leave immediately."
"I am not leaving."
"Kirsten, you need to understand something. This is about the entire Stitchers program. If you stay, not only will your safety be compromised, but so will the rest of the program. If you leave, you protect yourself, and you'll drag attention away from the rest of us."
"So, I'm a pawn?"
"No. The agency will keep you safe, no matter what happens. The more they have to protect you, the safer it means the rest of us are."
"I don't understand."
"You shouldn't. You just have to listen and do as you are told."
"Where am I moving to?"
"Right now, you're scheduled for Paris, France."
"What about my stuff?"
"Your friends will help you pack."
Kirsten nodded, taking in all the information. "Have they been told?"
"I told them on your way here."
Kirsten refused to take anymore information, instead getting up and leaving. Maggie made no move to stop her, letting the former stitcher leave. As Kirsten walked into the elevator, she let unknown emotions wash over her. Although it felt like she had always been leaving, always going to Paris, she felt a pang in her stomach at the thought of it.
The elevator doors dinged open, and Kirsten rushed outside to get a cab. Hailing a taxi, she quickly directed the driver to Echo Park. On the way, the blonde pulled out her phone, feeling it buzz in her pocket. Text messages came in like a wildfire, all of them from Linus, Camille, or Cameron.
Creating a group text, Kirsten sent one out to all of them.
Quiet.
Cameron responded back immediately.
No. Where are you moving?
Paris.
Camille joined in.
The city of love, of all places.
Cameron texted back.
City of lights, Camille.
