One Final Message

Stampy could hear the footsteps and hisses of the horrible creepers. They were right on his tail. The terrified cat knew it was a bad idea from the start, going into the dark forest and into the unknown, but, of course, his curious cat instincts kicked in. And now he was running for his life from a pack of exploding green monsters.

Stampy was huffing and wheezing, feeling like he could just drop on the spot and accept defeat, and allow the creepers to blow him and his remains to bits. But not this time.

He knew he was good as dead. He knew he would soon be killed. But that didn't stop him. He would try for as hard as he could.

Then he got an idea. Not to help him, but to let everyone back at the house know that he was going to die, that he was about to get mauled by creepers, so he could say goodbye. And maybe, just maybe, he might be able to be saved.

Pulling out his MiNEPhone and getting to his text messages, he clicked the first person in his contacts: Sqaishey. He wrote his message fast, so he could concentrate on jumping a log.

Stampy: Sqaishey help

Meanwhile, Sqaishey and a few others were in the living room, playing checkers. When the yellow duck heard her phone beeping, she apologized to the others and took it. A worried frown grew on her face when she read it out.

Sqaishey: Whats wrong?

Stampy sighed with relief. Sqaishey had read the message.

Stampy: Creepers

Sqaishey: Where are you?

Sqaishey stood up and a concentrated expression grew on her face.

Squid, who was with them, stood from his chair. "What's wrong?" he asked, noticing Sqaishey.

Sqaishey turned to Squid, her eyes huge. "Stampy's in trouble." she said quietly.

As he dodged a low branch, Stampy wrote another message.

Stampy: Im in doobrry forst pls hlp

Hopefully they understood what he meant. Would they come to rescue him? What if Sqaishey went alone and had the same fate as he was soon to have? His thoughts were interrupted as he tripped on a tangle of thorns and fell onto his face.

His phone was beeping as he tried to sturdy himself. He stood up on wobbly legs and read the message.

Sqaishey: were coming

Stampy was relived. He began writing another message when he heard a blood-curling hiss from behind him. He closed his eyes and screamed as he was blown across the small clearing, skidding through the dirt and hitting a tree.

Blood streamed out of his head and his leg was badly twisted. AS he tried to stand up he felt a jolting pain in his back and he fell back down again. His head was spinning as he searched for his phone, now the screen was cracked from the nasty blow it took. As he wrote the message, tears started to form in his eyes.

Stampy: I think its too late

Meanwhile, Sqaishey, Lee, Squid and Amy where busy racing down the hall.

Sqaishey stopped dead when he read Stampy's message, causing everyone else to run into her. She didn't flinch.

Sqaishey: no we're coming!

As Stampy struggled to stand up and text at the same time, he didn't notice the creeper sneak up  on him until the hiss came, and the explosion that sent him flying into another tree. He searched for his broken phone.

Stampy: goodbye Sqaishey.

Tears fell down Sqaishey's eyes and soaked her feathers.

Sqaishey: Stampy?

Stampy struggled with his phone when he heard another sizzle from behind.

Stampy: Sqaishey I need to telll yo[phdddddddddd

"Stampy...?" Sqaishey whispered through tears.

Stampy's legs were completely broken, along with an arm, and he was pretty sure his stomach was open. He managed to write his last text as three creepers surrounded him, already starting their sizzles. Stampy pressed "send" and closed his eyes, letting out a small smile.

Sqaishey collapsed, tears pouring down her face as she read Stampy's one final message:

"I love you."
