Take your shot it might be scary, hearts are gonna break
it's been around 2 weeks of university. ashton and i were starting to get close. i didn't know exactly what we were to each other, i mean we cuddled but during classes we were just friendly. i guess we were comparable to best friends. we were still settling into the dorm and trying to get used to the classes and workload that was being thrown at us.
"ashton wake up." i exclaim while shaking him.
he groaned and turned to his other side.
"we have class at 9." it was 7:00 but ashton took long to get ready.
i sighed and gave up. wanting to surprise ashton for when he actually woke up, i began preparing breakfast. my mom had given us every possible food item, so i had a lot of choices. after looking around the fridge and pantry for a while, i decided to make pancakes. i started up the stove and set a frying pan on top. spraying the pan, i poured the pancake mix.
10 minutes later, i had finished making the pancakes and was now putting them on plates. i figured ashton liked whipped cream, so i put a dollop of it on top and topped it off with strawberries. i love coffee so i also made him some.
"hey." i heard a husky voice call out.
i smiled. he was up. ashton looked super cute in his over sized sweater.
"i made you pancakes and coffee." i said while sliding a plate toward him.
"how sweet of you." he said jokingly.
once we were both done, we put the dishes in the sink. all of a sudden, ashton pulled me in for a hug. i was taken by surprise and he smelt like coffee.
"thanks for the breakfast." he whispered in my ear.
i blushed (its my bad habit) and started getting dressed.
today, i decided to wear a black baseball tee with black skinny jeans, as per usual. for shoes i was wearing all-black converse.
"you ready?" i ask ashton whilst grabbing my backpack.
"yeah hold on." he called from the bedroom. he came out dressed in a sweater and jeans, wearing his trendy glasses. he looked adorable in them.
he slipped into his shoes and we headed out. the buliding we were going to was a good 15 minute walk. we had English again today.
"so how are you handling all the work?" i ask ashton.
"pretty well. it's definitely more than i'm used to, but i'm keeping up with it." he replies.
i nod in response. we soon arrive at our class and we get started.
5 hours later, we were done. we had another class right after English, plus we had a lunch break.
ashton had stayed at school to buy some textbook he needed, so i was walking back with my other close friend, colleen, but i called her coll.
(A/N: guys imagine colleen as 'coll is cool' from vine because she's perfect and I love her)
"how's your roommate? is he hot?" coll asked wiggling her eyebrows.
i laughed at her curiousity. coll was such a typical girl.
"yes he's hot." i agreed sheepishly.
coll nodded in thought.
"is he back? i mean will i see him when we get to your dorm?" she inquired.
"i'm not sure. i haven't seen him since earlier today." i reply.

"you cannot be serious!" coll exclaimed while she died of laughter on our bed. i had told her about the time when i forgot my pants at home so i had to wear gym shorts all day.
"yup, totally true." i confirmed. she giggled again.
there was a knock at the door. i got up to get it.
"that must be ashton."
coll clapped her hands excitedly.
"hey," ashton greeted. "who is that?" he wiggled a finger at coll.
i let him come in and introduced her.
"this is colleen, my other close friend."
she stuck out her hand. "call me coll." she said, grinning.
she nodded at me, telepathically telling me she approves.
i smiled.
ash, coll and i ended up watching clueless, because i loved the movie and ash had never seen it.
i was sitting in between coll and ash, and ashton's arm was around me. coll smirked at me, knowing that i liked ashton.
3 movies later, it was 11:00pm. coll yawned.
"well, i'd better head back to my dorm. kelly's waiting for me."
she smirks again at me, then heads out the door.
ash looks over at me.
"she your girl friend?" he asks, clearly kidding. i shake my head no and laugh a little.
"you're adorable." i say looking up at him.
he giggles and pecks me on the lips, holding my face in his hands. i am pleasantly surprised.
he pulls away.
"sorry, i just wanted to do that for a long time." he says looking down.
"don't worry, i've wanted it too." i say smiling.
