Chapter One

I'm going with my mummy to her best friend's house because she has a new baby!!!! YAAAY ,me, Louis Austin is gonna get a new baby!! I'm so happy!

And mummy promised that if I behaved well she'd let me eat 2 candies!!! So I'm gonna be super nice and I can't wait to meet him! I hope he is funny and will share his toys with me. Because, mean kids don't share their toys with me and it makes me sad because I will always give them my toys if they wanted to.

"Boobear we've arrived" mummy said.

"Okay mummy" I waited for her to open my car seat and when she did she helped to get down. And then I ran to the front door. Mummy quickly came after me breathing fast "LOUIS! Don't ever run away from me again," she said seriously, my lips started to wobble, I hate it when mummy is upset with me "I'm sowwy I-I just want to meet him" I told her, 0 feeling tears in my eyes. "Oh honey, don't cry, I love you" she gave me a big hug and a kiss.

Mummy Anne opened the door, she looks tired and there is some noise from inside "Mummy Annie there is something dying in your house" I yelled. Mummy and Mummy Anne laughed at me "Awh LOUIS aren't you a cookie" Mummy Anne said and pinched my cheek.

"I AM NOT A COOKIE, I'm a boy" I pouted.

"You are a big boy right?" I nodded "Okay, then come in"

We walked in and I went straight to Gemma, my best friend in the whole world!! "Hi Louis, I got a brother" was the first thing she said to me.

"That's so cool! I want a brother too, how can I get one?" I asked out loud. Again, they all laughed at me. Why do they do that? Am I saying something wrong?

"Louis, honey, it doesn't work like that. It takes really hard work and time" Mummy said.

"Okay" I huffed not quite understanding and I already lost interest cause that awful sound is back again "MAKE IT STOP" I covered my ears.

"Hush Harry honey I'm here. Mummy is here, hush my pretty angel stop crying" I heard Mummy Anne whisper. I looked at her and saw her holding a bundle of baby blue blankets. Why is she talking to it? "Mummy Annie, why are you talking to blankets?" They laughed again.

"Louis it's not a blanket, it has a baby inside" I nodded and then turned to Mummy.

"Mummy, why don't we have a baby?" I asked

"Because having a baby requires a daddy," she answered.

"Why don't we have a daddy?" I asked because everyone that I know has a mummy and a daddy and I'm the only one with only a mummy.

Suddenly, mummy looked sad so I went and gave her the best hug I could. "We don't need a daddy now, honey. We have each other and that's enough" she smiled at me but I can tell that she wasn't happy so I gave her a big kiss on the cheek and then I went to play with Gemma.

After a while Mummy and Mummy Anne went to the kitchen to make tea and left the baby
with us. "Wanna hold his hand?" Gemma said. I nodded and we went to the bundle of blankets. Laying in them is a funny looking thing. I giggled and I gave it my finger because I'm a giant and it has tiny hands that can't hold my whole hand. It grabbed my finger really hard. I winced and tried to pull my finger away but it just won't let it go.

"MUMMY HELP THIS FUNNY LOOKING THING WON'T LET MY FINGER GO" I screamed and then the thing started making that awful noise, I started crying and then I was able to get my hand out and I ran to my mummy. She hugged me and started whispering soothing things in my ear and eventually I stopped crying, and so did the baby.

"It was fun to be here. Thank you, Anne, and again congrats on your baby, but we have to go now. Goodbye" with that Mummy and I left and went back home.
