13: Surprises and Shock

Not a long chapter more like a bonus/filler.

I arose from my bed feeling rejuvenated. I checked my phone seeing I had a text from Sean.
S~ Goodmorning beautiful I hope you slept well xxx.
I texted back.
E~Goodmorning handsome I had a great night's sleep. I hope you did too xxx.

I put my phone down to get ready for my Sunday. Today I was going to go talk to Mark, and see if he was okay.
I took a shower and washed my hair. Today I didn't feel like really putting any effort, so I decided on pink sweats, white tank, and my white vans. I left my hair in it's natural wavy form and no make-up today.

I drove to Mark's house listening to my music at a minimum volume. I arrived at his house and rung the door bell. I waited patiently until someone finally answered.
"Hello Evelyn, are you here to see Sean?" Rachel asked me.
"Yes ma'am, is he here right now?" I asked. This was really awkward even though me and Mark have been best friends since kindergarten.
"Yes he's in his room you can go up." She said letting me in.

I went upstairs to Mark's room and knocked. I heard a faint come in. I walked in and saw him laying face first on his bed.

"Hey M, how are you doing?" I asked steadily.
I just heard mumbles and grumbles.
"Why don't you sit up and tell me." I suggested.
He complied and sat up. His eyes were red and he had bags from lack of sleep.
"I feel like crap E." He said looking sad and miserable.
"What happened?" I asked curiously.
"I love Lou but not just romantically anymore. And I feel really bad about that because it's been that way for a while now." He said ashamed.
I was shocked but I couldn't show it so I asked.
"How long have you felt this way?" He was silent for a while until he spoke up.
"4 months... I tried to get over her but I couldn't. I think I fell in love with her." He said no to meeting my eyes.
"Who is it?" I asked truing to get him to look at me.
" Savannah..." He hesitantly said
Oh my no this can't be not my...

I honestly feel bad for Lou, because 4 months is a long time.
Mark's POV next chapter so we'll see what's going on in this scrambled mind.
