01 Meeting her

Emily POV
I walked to the front door, carrying my luggage. I knocked and smiled wide while waiting. I can't believe I'm gonna see my brother after over two years!
The door opened and a pale, skinny, tattooed boy stood in front of me.
"H-Hi. Can I help you?" He said shyly.
He looked at me and then at my luggage.
"Hi I'm Emily Wilson. I'm James' sister."
I stuck out my hand and he awkwardly shook it.
" I'm Aleks. Come in." He said opening the door wider and stepping aside so I can walk in.
"Do you need any help?" He asked motioning to my luggage.
"Uh, yea thanks." I said, smiling.
"I'll go get James."
I waited patiently as Aleks walked to the staircase and yelled, "JAMES YOU HAVE COMPANY!"
I heard James yell from one of the rooms upstairs.
"IM COMING!"
I heard footsteps and suddenly smiled really big. I've been waiting for this moment for months. I've missed my brother so much. He's my best friend and these last couple of years without him have been hell. We do Skype and call each other often but it wasn't the same. I'm finally gonna be able to hug him. He gives THE BEST hugs I swear. It's like being held by a hundred puppies.
James fast-walks down the stairs and stops once he sees me. His eyes light up and he yells, "EM!" He runs to me as I hold my arms out waiting for his bear hug. He wraps his arms around me and lifts me off the ground, spinning me in the process.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He screams with excitement as he lowers me to the ground.
"I came to visit you and Josh." His excitement dies down a bit and turns more into a look of annoyance.
You see, Josh is my boyfriend. We've been dating almost three years and James has never liked him. He always lectures me about how I shouldn't trust guys like him and how I'm just bound to get hurt. I'm happy and Josh hasn't done anything wrong and I don't think he will anytime soon.
"So I guess you're staying with Josh, huh?" He rolls his eyes.
I nod. "I'll be spending a lot of time here too. Do you really think I came all the way here to not spend time with you James?" I say sticking out my lower lip. He never could stay mad at my puppy dog face.
"Alright then. Come on let's go get some lunch. I bet you're starving." James said, grabbing his car keys, "You wanna come Aleks?" He turned to face the skinny boy who was still awkwardly standing by the staircase.
" Uh, yeah. Sure." He looked at me and we made eye contact. He then averted his focus to the floor while turning a pale shade of pink.
'Ok? Weird.' I thought to myself as we all walked out the door.

Aleks POV
I was sitting on the couch using Twitter on phone as I heard a knock on the door. I walk towards it and open it. Suddenly the most beautiful girl I've ever seen is standing right in front of me.
Quick Aleks, say something.
"H-Hi. Can I help you?" I stuttered out, all the while staring at her awkwardly. Smooth.
I turn my attention to the luggage beside her.
"Hi I'm Emily Wilson. I'm James' sister." She hold her hand out And I awkwardly shake it.
SHES JAMES' SISTER?! How is that possible. They look nothing alike.
"I'm Aleks. Come in." I move aside and help her bring her bags inside.
I call James from the bottom of the stairs and tell him he has company. He comes down and as he sees his sister, he runs to her and hugs her.
They start talking and all the while I'm standing by the stairs, staring at her.
Wow. She is so beautiful. I refuse to believe this is My best friend's sister. Now that I think about it, they have the same big, brown eyes. I think I like them better on her though. Wait what am I doing. I can't think this way about James sister. He would KILL me.
"You wanna come Aleks?" James asks me, snapping me back into reality.
"Uh, yea sure" I have no idea what I just agreed to but hey, at least I'll be able to spend some time with her.
I continue to look at her until I realize she's looking back with a confused face. I look down and feel myself blushing. 'Good job Aleks. She thinks you're a creep,' I think as we all walk out the door.

Damn dude. This is my first time writing a fanfic. I've had this idea for a while and I finally decided to try it out (: this probably sucks real bad but oh well (:
