Rehearsals. We are preparing for our concert at Wembley stadium next month. Sometimes I find it amazing looking back on what we are five years ago. Performing there as one of the contestants of X-Factor and now, we will have our concert there, for the nth time.
"So that's all for the day. You'll have the whole month off, then we'll going to rock Wembley arena again." Jamie said.
"One month off. Yes!" Harry said after drinking in a water bottle then shoving the last contents to us. He always does that just to do something.
"Hey, are you going to do that again in the end of the show? Best Song Ever is not our closing track." Liam asks.
"No. But if I can't think of something else to do I'll just do it again."
"Lame." Zayn said.
"I'm just kidding!" He said then starts to laugh.
"You are? Oh Harry stop it, you're just making yourself a big idiot." sassy Zayn strikes back. This time I know that he is 1001% done with Harry.
These two are always like that, especially when Harry is getting started again with his knock knock jokes. Zayn hates them so much but I know that in the end of the day, whatever happens, they will still be like brothers.
"So, what are your plans for the days off guys?" Louis asks, intentionally ending Harry and Zayn's bickering.
"I'll bet £20 that Harry is going to LA or New York again." I said as I put my guitar back to its case.
"Give me £20 now mate, I won't." Harry said.
"Why, this time Taylor is flying over here to see you?"
He throws the empty water bottle over me and rolled his eyes. This time this is between Harry and me. Poor Harry.
"Hey, you guys want to come over with me at Funky Buddha Saturday night? It's been a while since we went to club together. We can do disguise, it will be fun." Liam said. I know that he'll say that, Daddy D of course.
"Yeah, then we will be mobbed again, I really missed that feeling." sassy Zayn again.
"I'm afraid I can't. I day offs is Derby day." I said then I slid the guitar case strap on my shoulder.
"C'mon Niall, a whole month off! There will be a lot of games for sure and there are replays if you want." Liam approaches me then gives my shoulder a tap.
"He doesn't want to be in Funky Buddha because he might meet another girlfriend again." Harry fires back to me.
"Oh," Louis chuckles, "yeah, heard about that Nialler, what happened?"
Okay, so here goes the Funky Buddha-girlfriend story again, and I need to explain myself. I find it frustrating every time people always ask about that and I need to explain myself again and again. I bet that even if I said the truth already, I doubt that they believe it. But these boys need to know the whole story as well. "I just met her there, she's drinking because her boyfriend broke up with her then she's so drunk that she can't go home alone, so I took her home." I sigh hoping that they will believe what I am about to say. "I just helped her out that night, that's all. Nothing else happened."
"Oh my god Niall, you took advantage of a drunken girl!" Louis accuses me.
"No! I don't!" I said in defense. "I won't do that!"
