We had just split up with Tony, Vic and Mike. They wanted to go drink for a little while while Jaime and I wanted to just have fun and ride some more rides.

"Can I have a piggyback ride?" I asked with puppy dog eyes and Jaime laughed before crouching down slightly. I hopped on his back and he mad sure I was securely on his back.

"Hold on!" he yelled up before dashing through the crowd to get to the rides. I was laughing and squealing whenever he would either stop short or almost run into someone. It was fun until I had to get down.

"Where to first?" I asked as we were in the midst of all the rides. We both kind of looked around.

"Wanna just go on them in order of what we see first?" Jaime said and I nodded. Logic, we just needed some.

Seven rollercoasters, the tea cups and a few other rides later and I was beat.

"My voice is gonna be so gone tomorrow." I whined but smiled. I had fun today and it didn't matter that tomorrow would be hell repaying me for it.

"And you're gonna have a serious burn to." He said as he pointed to my shoulder and I cringed but shrugged.

"I don't know about you, but I could use that drink now." I chuckled and gently rubbed my tender shoulder.

"Oh, yeah, sure!" He said and started acting a little weird.

"Hey, you want to sit for a minute, my legs need a little rest anyways." I suggested and he nodded.

I sat down on the toasty asphalt and slid my Vans off my feet before looking over at a very pensive Jaime.

"What's up?" I asked and he just looked off and smiled slightly.

~Jaime's POV~

The day had been going great and spending time with Miranda just getting to know her quirks.

I was freaking out all week just thinking about what I would say or if I would say anything at all. It was weird to think that this girl made me feel like I was back in school. I had butterflies and I was nervous whenever she was around. I had fallen for her through and through and I didn't even know if she felt the same way.

The guys were fairly certain that she had some kind of feelings for me but I think they were just trying to boost my confidence. They had split from us and that's when things got weird for me because it was now or never.

We had rode all the rides until she was tired and wanted a break before meeting up with the guys.

"What's up?" She asked and I couldn't help but smile but I tried to conceal it. Her voice was, as cliche as it sounds, music to my ears.

"Well, I don't really know." I said and rubbed the back of my neck nervously and smiled down at her and her confused expression.

"Miranda, I know I've only known you a few months but I wanted to know If you would want to go out with me some day and have dinner or just hang out." I blurted out after a long awkward pause. She looked as though she was in deep thought and smiled.

"I would love to get together and do something, Jaime." she smiled and got up to sit with me on the bench. I let out a sigh of relief.

"You know, I kind of had a feeling that they set you up for this." she chuckled and I bowed my head in slight embarrassment and then looked over at her.

"Yeah, I'm sure as soon as we see them they will break my balls about it." I chuckled nervously.

"Stop being so nervous! The worst I could've said was no. I'm here, we have plans now and to be honest, I'm excited." She said timidly, something I never really saw from her.

"We should probably go find the three musketeers now." I said with a smile on my face.

"Yeah, god knows Mike will make some kind of sexual joke when we show up." She giggled.

"Damn, you've been here for like three months and already know how Mike is. I'm impressed." I smiled and watched as she slipped her shoes back on.

"Well, I am a very observant person." She smiled and shrugged. We started weaving through the thick crowds and finally made it to the arcade much earlier than the others so we decided to play some games while we waited.

I won her a stuffed Tiger while she whooped my ass in Air Hockey.

"Like I've said before, I am a beast when it comes to competitive games." She chuckled and I frowned.

"Aw, don't feel sad!" She said and gave me a hug. I chuckled and squeezed her tightly before we got interrupted.

"Ow Owww, I see all went well, like we said." Mike said with a smirk and I rolled my eyes.

"Well, before all of the lovely school boy taunting begins, can we get a drink or something?" Miranda asked while her arms were still wrapped around my torso.

"Yeah! Wanna get a quick drink here then go out for something to eat?" Vic said with a coy smile while looking at us. Yeah, I was definitely gonna get ripped apart when she leaves.

We went to the tiki bar that was located in the water park and ordered some drinks before relaxing into the beach chairs.

Everyone was fairly quiet though I knew what they were thinking.

We all finished our drinks and headed out of the park to catch a bite to eat.

Miranda had fallen asleep again on the ride home but we were all close to passing out by the time we had arrived back in town to a restaurant.

I woke Miranda up and she protested until she heard that food was the reason to wake up. She groaned but made her way out of the car.

"Hello, What can I get you to drink?" Our servers asked politely and looked at each of us.

"I'll have a water please." Miranda said and so did Vic since he has been driving this whole time. The rest of us ordered beers.

"I forgot how tiring Six Flags is." Miranda yawned and let her head rest on Tony's shoulder. We all mumbled some kind of agreement to her statement.

We ordered and soon our food came out and we were finally talkative again since we had our energy back.

"So, Miranda, you and good ole Hime-Time, aye?" Mike said with a wiggle of his brows and I blushed and watched as she shook her head with a smile.

"Slow down, killer. We aren't dating yet." she chuckled and I caught a quick but nervous glance from her.
