Chapter 14: Valentine's Surprise

Scott held his phone in his hand, dialling Mitch's number. Three rings was all it took for Mitch to answer,

'-Hello?' Mitch's voice happy,

'Hi babe, how's it going?' Scott smiled, hearing how happy Mitch was to hear Scott's voice again.

'-Uh, good! I've come through customs and I'm sat outside the boarding gate so I can get in the plane quicker.' Mitch explained,

'Oooh, you've come through quick then. I've got a surprise for you when you get home.. in a couple hours.'

'-You're such a tease, Scottney. I'm excited. I've got to go, boo. Love you.' Mitch said, a smile on his face.

'Okay baby, Love you too.'

'-Bye.'

'Bye.'

When Mitch arrived, he automatically called Scott,

'-Hello?'

'Yeah, hi. Are you picking me up?'

'-Uhhh..' Scott looked at the flowers on the back seat of the car.

'-No, I'm kinda busy right now... sorry babe. Alex will pick you up.' Scott said, smirking to himself.

'Oh.. Okay.. I'll see you at home I guess?' Mitch said sadly, standing next to the luggage belt.

'-Yeah, sorry.. Bye.'

'Bye.'

Scott quickly got out the car once he hung up, getting the flowers and the teddy out of the car. He locked the car and quickly moved to the 'Arrivals' section of the airport and stood all the way at the back, considering that he was really tall and you could spot him from a mile away. 

Suddenly, the arrival gates opened and everyone was slowly walking through - running to their partners and family once they spotted them. 

Then through the gates walked a small, petite brunet, his face tear stained and his gaze scanning through the crowd until he met his eyes with Scott.

His face lit up and he ran to Scott, his suitcase wobbling behind him.

His arms wrapped around the tall man's torso and he stood on his tiptoes to kiss Scott,

'I thought you weren't coming..' Mitch said,

'You really believed that? I missed you so much, Muffin.'

'I missed you too Cupcake, let's go,'
