Author's pov:

"Arey Gowtham, jaldi karo na... late ho raha hai!" Charunya shouted, standing at the door. Shivani watched her and smiled.

(Hey Gowtham, make it fast, we are getting late)

"Main ladki hoke itna time nahi liya jitna tum le rahe ho... come fast! Function khatam ho jayegi!" she added with an exaggerated sigh.

( Being a girl, I didn't take much time, but you, come fast! The function will be completed)

"Haan haan, aa gaya main... and please, don't repeat those old dialogues again! It all depends on the person, okay?" Gowtham replied, defending himself as he adjusted his watch. Charunya rolled her eyes at her ever-dramatic husband.

( Yes, I came)

Shivani, who was seated in the hall, smiled silently at their usual bickering. Charunya and Gowtham were heading to a wedding and had asked Shivani to join them, but she had politely refused. So instead, Charunya handed over Arjun to her and said, "Take care of him."

Now, Arjun and Shivani were enjoying the real-life drama in front of them.

"Shivi... I wish I had popcorn right now," the little boy said, eyes fixed on his parents.

"Aise nahi bolte, Arjun," Shivani corrected him gently.

( Don't talk like that Arjun)

"Shivi... kya saare husband-wife aise hi hote kya?" Arjun asked innocently.

( Shivi, Did all the husband and wife are the same?)

Shivani smiled warmly and shook her head. "Sab nahi hote, lekin tumhare Mumma-Papa toh zaroor hote hain," she said playfully.

( Not all, but your mother and father are like that)

Arjun burst out laughing, loud enough to catch his parents' attention.

"Kya ho raha hai yaha?" Charunya asked, narrowing her eyes.

( Whats happening here?)

" Nothing! Go safely," Shivani said, flashing an award-winning innocent smile.. mirrored perfectly by Arjun.

On the other side, Adhi had just landed at Bagdogra Airport and was now heading to Darjeeling by car.

The serene landscape outside enchanted him...

The lush greenery, the towering mountains, the calm expressions of the people. Everything exuded peace. Once he reached the hotel, he stepped out of the car, taking a deep breath of the crisp mountain air.

He made a mental note: "I'll explore once the work is done."

As soon as he entered his room, he dropped onto the bed, eyes shutting almost immediately. But just then, his brother's words echoed in his mind... "Call me once you reach there."

He sighed, got up, and walked out to the balcony, where the cool breeze greeted him. He dialed his brother's number, After two rings, Abhimanyu picked up.

" Bhai... I just reached. And guess what? You have to come here sometime. This place is so beautiful... so peaceful," Adhi said, still in awe.

"Okay. Take care. And listen, when you go outside, wear more clothes. It's cold there. And don't skip dinner.."

Abhimanyu instructed in his usual responsible tone before abruptly ending the call.

Adhi chuckled, shaking his head fondly at his brother's predictable concern. He pulled out his phone, clicked a quick picture of the view, and sent it to Abhimanyu with a simple caption...
