"Bang"

AN: This was written over a year ago and will not be edited or changed.

It was another average day in the massively multilayer online game GGO or Gun Gale Online. Sinon and I had partied up with some other players who also wanted to PK. Of course with us both being girls, we received a lot of sexual harassment from other male players as the majority of players on GGO were male.

"Hey, you over there! The one with the turquoise hair! You wanna find some place to go after we are done with all this PK-ing"

I laughed to myself because I knew that Sinon was not interested with guys in the slightest. It was actually quite funny to see them try. If anyone around here had a chance with her it was me. I'd had a crush on her every since I first started playing GGO. We met when we were in a party together and as girls are a rarity on games like this we decided to stick together. As we got closer on the game, I realised that I knew her in reality. I was in the school year above her and when we found that out we quickly became best friends in reality as well as online.

The PK-ing was very hard as an animal hunting group that we normally prey on had paid for a body guard. We soon found out that his name was Behemoth. He was famous for the weapon he used; 'GE M134 Minigun'.

Members of our party soon started dropping like flies to this overpowered weapon. Sinon looked over at me to see if I was still alive. I was taking shelter behind a blockade. She called over to me, "There's somewhere I have to go to defeat this guy". I nodded at her. I knew she couldn't set up the 'PGM Ultima Ratio Hacate II' here as it was a sniper. I didn't want her to leave because she was far better at this game than I was. I heard the bullets whiz past me. They were closer than I had anticipated. I returned fire at him a couple of times but that wasn't going to do much because I couldn't aim properly. I was out of ammo within minutes and my defence from the blockade was not going to last much longer.

Everyone from both parties was taken out expect for myself, Sinon and Behemoth. His Minigun was still in full swing. Behemoth was taunting me, he kept saying things like "You can't hide forever" and "I will get revenge on you PK-ers for what you did to this innocent hunting team".

I tried not to think about him finding me but his voice closed in.

"Oh, there you are!"

My leg. It was hit almost straight after he said that. I was immobile. "C'mon Sinon what's taking you so long" I thought to myself.

My eyes were so relieved. I saw a prediction line come up from a building.

"Sinon..." I breathed.

Unfortunately I must of said this too loud and he swung his Minigun around and ran towards where Sinon was firing his gun at will. Sinon was very quick to react although so she was hit in the leg. She had no choice but to fling herself out of the frame of the building where the window would of been. During the free fall she managed to fire a single shot.

"Bang"

Behemoth shattered into a thousand pieces.

"SINON-SAN!" I shout over at her. Her health was extremely low. I grabbed all the healing items I could out of my inventory. To my relief her health bar started to slow increase again but her leg saw no sign of immediate recovery. I realised I was going to have to carry her most of the way back to SBC Glocken or at least until we could find some means of transport.

"You don't have to do this (your name)..."

I loved the way she said my name, even in the state she was in the way she said it was just so nice and it made me feel kinda warm inside.
