Dear Doctor,

I am truly sorry Doctor, but I've decided to stop traveling with you. I know I've said this once before and I never did stop, but I'm afraid I'm serious this time. The adventures we've had together were truly amazing and impossible all at the same time. The days I spent with you were honestly the best of my life. Unfortunately, there comes a time were all good things must come to an end.

Things have changed dramatically in the past year. You changed. I changed. We both changed so much that its gotten to the point where we can barely stand each other for long periods of time. We're constantly bickering and it's hard to keep up with you. I wish we could go back to the days when you would pop out of nowhere with your "snog box" (Yes I'm still calling it a snog box and don't try to convince me otherwise) and with the snap of your fingers we'd be off on some impossible adventure. You used to be so kind and heartfelt, but you've grown to be this grumpy old man who can't seem to stop sassing me. I've tried to put up with you for as long as I could, but I simply cannot do it anymore.

Times have been very rough with Danny gone and you not acting like your usual self. I feel like I'm only running away from all of my problems. I think its time for me to settle down and retire from being your companion. I want to go back to living a somewhat normal life. (Stop muttering about how boring that could be, it can be really fulfilling for humans.)

Anyways, it looks like this is goodbye. Please don't try to come after me. By the time you've read this letter I'll be gone. Just promise me this one thing though. Continue to chase the stars like you always do. Find another brilliant girl to take with you on amazing trips to different planets and time zones. Continue to save as many people, species, and planets as you can because they all still need you, Doctor. Don't let my leaving bring you down.

Love,

Clara Oswald

PS: Run you clever boy and remember.
