A week after Tsunade is made Hokage
Well, it's been quite the trip. Naruto went out on a massive trip to bring us a new Hokage- that boy, I swear. That's the good thing, then the bad thing is, is that Sasuke has been becoming more and more distant.
At first it was hardly noticeable. We would fight, and in the middle of it all, he would just drift away; he'd just stand still, watching me. It was un-nerving, really. Then it came to the point where I'd knock on his door and nobody would answer, though I'd see a shadow moving in his window. Is he over me? Was it all a lie? Was another girl with him inside the house? Or is it something more sinister? He's always been a dark type of person, but locking himself in and not coming out? Not even to see me?
I groaned and rubbed my head, deciding to take it to the Hokage. I grabbed my headband and went to leave the house but who should stop me?
"Ayame! I haven't seen you in forever!" Kiba cooed as he hugged me tightly, I gasped for air as I found it extremely hard to breathe,
"Ki! Ba! Let m-me go!" I strained,
"Oh! Sorry." He chuckled and scratched his arm, "So! What are you doing today?" He asked happily, Akamaru, who I just noticed, barked happily while perched on Kiba's head,
"Um, actually I was going to see Sasuke again... I just wanted to see if he was feeling better..." Kiba scowled,
"You're always hanging out with him! Did you know that Neji has been asking for you? Neji! Of all people! Do you know how annoying that is?!" I opened my mouth to say something but Kiba grabbed my hand and dragged me inside,
"K-Kiba!" I exclaimed, he thrusted me into the bathroom, "What are you-"
"Look!" Kiba forced me to look into the mirror. What I saw was quite... surprising. I had the same dark rings under my eyes that Sasuke has and my skin was slightly paler. My eyes also looked watery, as if I'd cry at any moment, "See what he's done to you? No more happy Ayame for us! We get the depressed and moody Ayame! You need to stop hanging around him! At least hang with us for one day, just so you can remember what it was like when you were actually free." I frowned and turned to him,
"How do you know what I feel?" Kiba shrugged and put his hands in his pockets,
"I don't know how you feel, but you're like an open book. So easy to read." I playfully smacked him,
"Not funny." I told him with a slight smile,
"There we go!" He exclaimed, "Now come on! Kakashi's out on a mission right?" I nodded, "Then let's go play!" I laughed as Kiba pulled me out of the house. I guess Sasuke could wait til tomorrow; it's not as if anything's going to happen.

"Um, Lady Tsunade?" I asked as I knocked on her door. Frowning when there was no answer, I tried again, "M'am?" I opened the door slightly; I sweat dropped when I saw the Hokage asleep at her desk,
"Oh! Uh... Arame?" I turned and saw Tsunade's assistant Shizune. I smiled at her,
"It's Ayame, but you were close." Shizune smiled back at me,
"Do you need help?"
"Well.. Uh, I just wanted to ask the Hokage something but... umm..." I opened the door wider so Shizune could see. An anime vein appeared on her head,
"Lady Tsunade! Wake up! Someone has come to see you!" The Hokage groaned and raised her head,
"What?" She asked while still sounding half asleep. I laughed nervously, "Come in!" She ordered,
