Chapter 8: Simply Disappear

Maya's POV

Everyone thinks that when life gives you lemons make lemonade but its not that easy especially for me.

I lay in the tub deep into my thoughts when all of a sudden Sammy bursts into my bathroom.

I immediately shrieked but he ignored me.

"We have training..again...in Moscow." He told me.

I let out an angry groan and sunk back into the tub.

Sammy got up and left sensing me displeasure.

This would be the 10th time in moving.
We were just gonna run away from our problems like we always do.

I sighed and shuffled my playlist on my phone G-Eazy's Just Believe came on and i sat back and just enjoyed this musical masterpiece enjoying the calm serenity because i knew this was just the calm before the storm.

A few days later

Today we're leaving. I havent spoken to Cameron and i havent seen him around in a while. I want to miss him but i cant emotion is simply a weakness and i will not display weakness in any form.

I got into our car that was filled with stuff that we would need alongside Sammy and my dad.

I plugged my earphones in and leaned my head unto the window.

As always we needed to simply disappear and that's what we'll always need to do because of the curse.
