A few weeks later, Oliver and I were scrambling to put away all of the groceries that we had just bought, marking the beginning of our Christmas holidays. Lupin, Tonks, and Mr. and Mrs. Wood were all chatting on the couch as we ran around the kitchen, throwing eggs into the fridge and bread into the pantry.

"Maggie, would you show us our rooms, please?" Mrs. Wood asked from the couch.

"Oh, of course. Follow me," I answered, throwing the bag of crisps that I was holding at Oliver to put away as I walked with the Woods, Tonks, and Lupin to the second floor. "Alright, Mr. and Mrs. Wood, this one on the left is for you two, and Tonks and Professor Lupin, yours is on the right," I said pointing to each room. The Woods retreated back into their bedroom and I walked with Lupin and Tonks to theirs.

"Thank you again, Maggie. It really means a lot," Tonks said as she sat down on one of the beds, smiling over at me.

"It's no problem, really. Sorry that your room's so bland, we weren't sure what kinds of things that we would need. There's a bathroom connected to this room, just so you know. We'll probably be getting dinner started soon, any preferences?" I asked, looking at the both of them.

"Anything would suffice, thank you again," Professor Lupin said, smiling.

"Alright," I answered, turning on my heel and walking back downstairs.

"Hey, babe, where do you want me to put the spices?" Oliver asked from the kitchen, holding up two of the small cans of spices to show me.

"Babe? You've never called me that before," I answered, smiling over at him. "I like it. And the spices can go in the pantry," I answered, looking in the fridge for something to cook up. I sighed and decided to go ask his parents if they wanted anything special, just since they were guests. I ran back up the stairs and knocked on their door for a few seconds before I heard someone say to come in.

"Sorry to bother you, but we're about to make some dinner, is there anything that you two would want?" I asked, looking at the both sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Maggie, we wanted to tell you how incredibly happy that we are that Oliver has you in his life. You're such a wonderful girl, you're exactly what he needs and I can tell that he's exactly what you need. I just want you to know that we absolutely adore you and that we couldn't be happier that you two are moving in together, and I don't want to frighten you with the future, but I can definitely see you two getting married and having babies, raising them in this house. I guess I'm just trying to say thank you, I've never seen our boy so happy, and it's all because of you," Mrs. Wood said, smiling over at me from her spot on the bed. I couldn't even describe how amazing it was to hear that, that they both accepted me so much and approved of me, it made my heart soar in the most indescribable way. I quickly wiped at a few tears that had sprung up in my eyes.

"Oh, Mrs. Wood, you have no idea how happy that makes me to hear you say it, thank you so much," I said, walking over to her and hugging her as well as Mr. Wood. "I'm quite fond of him as well, and I'm so thankful that you two are both so supportive of us. It means a lot," I said, smiling wide as I walked out of the room and back down to the kitchen.

"I love your parents," I said as I walked over to Oliver, wrapping my hands around his waist and resting my face on his back.

"Any particular reason?" He asked as he turned on the stove.

"They just told me that they were really happy that we moved in together, your mum said that she sees us getting married and having babies here," I chuckled, causing Oliver to snort.

"She's certainly very subtle," he joked, pulling the pan onto the stove and setting some fish, for dinner, down into the pan.

"Can you cook this by yourself?" I asked, pressing a kiss to his back before he started to nod. "I'm going to go take a nap. I love you," I yawned, walking over to our bedroom.
