Prologue:

Time is endless, it waits for no one. For the timeless nothing in their lives are worth more then the time spent observing the human race. Immortals are as infinite as the stars and ten times as bright, nothing can compare to their might of all that is, was, or will ever be. Immortals separate themselves into three groups, those of the light, those who herald the dark, and still those whom choose no side to be upon when war takes place in the realm of the gods. War is yet another simple pass time for the gods for every war there is a calamity of mass caliber to the mortals below. The wars that ravaged the lands from days to years were merely a game of the gods, a challenge between siblings or friends. Humans are the playthings of the children of the great Two. Julius the Creator of Light and Sonus the Goddess of dark.

Julius; Creator of Light, god of Strength and Valor. He is described as nothing less then his eldest son Novas God of the sun, he is a great light ten thousand times brighter then the sun and more powerful than even Sonus on rare occasions.

Sonus; Herald of Darkness, Goddess of Death and destruction. She is said to be so beautiful that should a mortal lay eyes upon her form they would turn to ash. Her darkness is deeper than a black hole and extends throughout time and space.

Some of the children bared by these gods stay true to their Sire and loyally follow their ideals; but for every true immortal ten achromatic immortals rise up behind them. Yet regardless of their up bringing or thoughts or choices on things they still bare the curse of endless life; like a phoenix rising from it's ashes gods are reborn. Like a plague among the humans they can never truly be defeated without the consent of their sires'. It is rare for a child of Sonus true to her ambitions to fornicate with those of the human race, but there is rumor among the ranks of immortals that one young brother does that which is forbidden to them.

Nero god of death, keeper of wandering souls. He spends much time around the mortals he is charged of collecting upon their last breaths; but who could catch the eye of one so cold hearted he could freeze the souls of others? Let us take a look into the realm of mortals and see who this child is...

Chapter 1: Falling Gods

She never took alleys unless she was in a rush to get home; but something prompted her to go down the poorly lit alley. Despite the fact that some one was following her, she felt as if she would be safe if she went down the dark dead end of an alley. She felt the urge to look up and pray to what ever god would listen that some one would come and help her before she was killed; but the second her eyes lifted she saw a large shadow fell from the sky and landed directly in front of her with a thud and a deep grunt. A small shriek left her mouth as she backed away quickly only to run into the man who'd been following her home; he grabbed her roughly and pushed her against the wall sending stars flashing across her vision.

"I wouldn't do that if I knew people were watching." A rich voice sounded from a few feet away, that stalker grinned a nearly perfect smile and said;

"Why not? It's always better when some one's watching, right?"

"Depends on who, you feeling lucky? Cause it looks like she's going to hit ya." Just as the velvety voice said that she kicked the stalker's nuts as hard as she could from that position; there was a high pitched squeal and the stalker went down.

"Th-thanks...um?"

"Nero, God of Death; Keeper of souls. Now if you'll excuse m--" He grunted clutching his side and falling to one knee.
