~Jessica's POV ~I have a softball game today and I'm extremely nervous because it's my first game with my new team since I moved here to San Francisco. I recently lived in New York but my parents thought that it would be good for me to start fresh after what had happened...
Anyways my game is today and I play 1st base. I know all the pressures not on me but it still feels like it. We are on the field first. Our pitcher, Alexis, struck out the first two batters but now it's time for the third. Will she get lucky again ? On the second pitch it was a curveball and I'm guessing the batter was ready for it because it was a pop fly in my direction. Now it was up to me to get the last out. It was a high pop fly so I was trying to aim to where I'm right under it. I was so shocked I see it fall right into my glove . I heard cheers from the crowd and team as I got my first out.
It was our turn to bat and I was very nervous and anxious. I was fourth batter and I was extremely excited. The bases were loaded by the time I got up to bat. I had a full count on me at the moment so it was time for me to hit it or lose it. Once the pitcher gave me a straight ball in the strike zone I blasted that shit. It went all the way across right field on the other side of the gate. I hit a grand slam!!! That was officially the best moment of my life!!!

After the game the team decided to go out for pizza to celebrate our first win! We won 32-3! I drove home and got ready!
"Hey honey how did your first game go?" My mother came out of nowhere and asked.
"Oh... Well we won 32-3! And I caught one of the first outs! And I hit a grand slam !!!" I said proudly at my achievement.
"That's great sweetheart !" My mom left it at that and walked out of my room! I decided to text my best friend to see if she wanted to come with me to go to pizza with my team.
To Alex :)
Hey babes u wanna come with me to go eat pizza with my team to celebrate our first win if the season?
From Alex :)
Did u say pizza?!?!? Of course !
Knowing my best friend I knew she wouldn't pass up an offer to eat food.
To Alex :)
Okay I'll pick u up in 10 so u better be ready.
With that we I left my house to go pick her up.

"So how was your first big win! Did u make any shots for me?" Alex said clueless that it's not called a shot its called a run . She's a soccer player so she doesn't know her baseball/softball sport.
"For the millionth time Alex it's a run and yes I hit a grand slam!" I couldn't keep the smile off my face.
"What's a grand slam ?" She looked so clueless and confused.
"It's where there are 3 people on each square thing on the dirt and the person that comes up to hit the ball hits it super far to where all the players run to the last square thing including the person that hit it." I sarcastically and playfully told her making her sound dumb.
" wow Jessica just say it normal I would have understood instead of you speaking to me as if I was in kindergarten. " she said rolling her eyes.
"Sorry love but would you have understood if I used softball terms?" I furrowed my eyebrows at her.
She looked down at her laps. "No I guess your right."
"Exactly well anyways we're here and if you don't know what they're saying or anything just tell me so I can help you understand or we can go if you feel uncomfortable."
"Aw thanks have but anywhere with food can never make me uncomfortable."
Knowing my best friend that's all she lives for besides soccer. FOOD. And me of course.
