Chapter 2
After a bit of mental preperation, I began heading towards the Town Hall, I figured that's where most survivors of whatever is happening would have gone to. It was the only logical thing to do at the moment.
Looking around, I'm amazed I haven't seen anyone. Anyone living that is. I also am beginning to see less and less corpses on the ground, in fact, I haven't seen any on this street now that I think about it. I looked at an alleyway and saw someone standing looking inside it, it was too dark for me to tell what was in there however, so I walked over to them.
"Hey!" I said to this stranger, who oddly enough hadn't moved an inch till I spoke to him. I regret moving towards him though, because when he turned to me, I wanted to turn and run, but couldn't because I was absolutely shocked.
His face was mangled, skin rotting, jaw dislocated, and he was just moaning and growling. That was of course before he started shambling towards me, and tried to grab and bite me! So I shoved him and started booking it. Then I started seeing more, a LOT more.
At that moment, I realized that this was just like earlier, during my walk. But then I realized something much worse. Not too long ago, I remember going to my friend's zombie movie marathon. These freaks chasing me have all the traits, but zombies just can't be real... Right?
