The Hunters of Mystic Falls

Chapter 1

A young couple were driving n a dark night. The man and woman seemed to have a bit of a bickering while driving. "An hour's drive to hear that crap. You know, it wasn't even a band. A guy with a guitar. An hour each way." He complained.

"He wasn't that bad." She argued.

"He sounded like James Blunt." He replied keeping his eyes on the road.

"What's wrong with that?" She asked defensively.

"We already have a James Blunt. One's all we need." He answered casually. "So why did you come?" She curiously asked. He smiled and looked to her. "Because I love you." He answered. Outside the wind shield, fog began to emerge as they were talking. "Nicely done." She commented smiling. "What's with all the fog?" she asked in confusion looking out front. "It'll clear in a second." The man assured her.

"WATCH OUT!" She suddenly shouted as they hit a silhouette that was previously standing in the road. The couple skid to stop. "Are you okay?" The man asked the woman in shock. "We just hit someone! Oh my god!" she called out in panic. "Call for help." He ordered as he opened the door and stepped out of the car rushing to the man. The woman dialled and put the phone to her hear. "Come on, come on!" she panicked as she was getting no response.

The man knelt next to the body, worried for the man's life. "Please be alive." he pleaded "Oh my god." he sighed in fear looking down at the ring. In a second, the body reached out, grabbing the man's neck and biting into it.

"There's no signal Darren! Darren?" She continued to run, but was whisked away into the sky.

The next morning, on the outskirts of the area, a man with short spiked hair walked out of a small restaurant and approached his black, 1967 Chevy Impala and opened the door to the drivers seat sitting in the car shutting the door behind him. "So what we got Sammy?" He asked as he opened up a hamburger and took a bite out of it. He let out a pleasurable moan. "Man, this is great. Don't you think?" He asked facing Sam, The long brown haired man looked down at the paper intently. "Uh... sure. Hey Dean, look at this." He said handing the paper to Dean who read it aloud. "Two bodies. One male, one female. Bodies drained of blood." He finished and looked for a moment. "Where is this?" Dean then asked curiously.

"Some place called Mystic Falls." Sam replied taking the paper back. "Shall we check it out?" Sam then asked.

"Of course we should. Been needing something to do lately." Dean replied as he started the car, reversed out of the car park and drove off into the distance.

Meanwhile, a young girl with long, brown hair was angrily following a boy heading towards the bathroom in a hurry. Disregarding the sign on the door, she followed him in.

The boy was putting in eye drops for some reason when the girl stormed towards him, turned him around and grabbed his face. "Great." She began. "It's the first day of school and you're stoned." She said in frustration.

"What?" The boy asked in confusion. "No I'm not." He denied sharply.

"Where is it?" The girl asked as she began to check his pockets. "Is it on you?" She snapped as he swatted her away.

"No it's not! You need to chill yourself." He snapped back. The girl looked back at him in disappointment. "People are gonna stop cutting you breaks Jer." She said in a slightly calmer tone. The boy sighed and went to stand up but was stopped by the girl. "You know what?" She began. "Forget it. Just know that I will be there to ruin your buzz every time." She said with a little more rage. "Whatever." The boy said pushing past her and leaving the bathroom.
