The mirror was disfiguring . It contorted into almost a black hole. Nothing happened for a while
Until two hands stuck out. They were cupped together, almost begging like.
"Quam oblationem tu, domine?"
(What are you offering me?)
The mirror said.
I placed the paw and the eye in one hand and the heart in the other.
"Optime ."
(Very well. )
He squeezed them together, blood from the heart oozing from the hands. Until it all turned to smoke.
Slowly he crawled from the mirror. And quickly I slid the ring on his finger.
He bowed and got on his knees "I am bound to you for eternity." I bowed as well.
He stood and he wasn't dressed. I looked away and he was embarrassed.
"Let me get you some clothes. "
I said
"Thank you." His head was still looking to the floor.
He was very small. Thin. Covered in tattoos. They were on him like his body was a canvas.
I returned and he was still in the same spot. I gave him some boxers and a t shirt.
I turned around as he changed.
"What is your name? "
He shuttered " Oliverius"
I turned around to look at him. He was dressed. The shirt I gave him was very long on him, might I say he looked adorable.
"Oliver. How about that?" I asked
He smiled and exposed those pointed teeth.
I sat on the floor and crossed my legs,
He did the same.
I glanced at his nails they weren't long at all. They looked maintained.
"So Oliver, can I ask you a few questions?" I asked
He nodded.
"What's it like where you are... Hell I mean."
"It's not like what you people think it is.
It's not just a pit of fire. There are not eternal slaves. It's basically just a house, a house you can never leave the quote on quote slaves are basically just my father's servants. It's kinda nice. "
He shrugged.
"Wow. Are you serious? " My eyes were wide.
"Yes, just think of this. If people exaggerated Hell so much, think about heaven, huh. That place is as boring as a retirement home." He joked.
"So, What do you mean that you'll bee with me for an eternity?"
"I mean I'll be by your side for an eternity. You bound me to you. The only exception is if my father calls on me, but if you call my name I'll come back."
I nodded and asked" Do you eat?"
He shined me His teeth again "of course."
-A few hours of talking-
He was asleep now, at the foot of my bed. I even told him He could have the whole bed. He insisted that he didn't use up the whole bed.
I didn't mind sharing the bed.
He was very truthful about things, thing I wanted to know.
I sat in a chair in the corner of my room, right next to the bed.
He rolled around in bed and woke up.
I smiled Goodmorning.
