Unexpected Love (on Hold)

Chapter 7

Marley's POV

It had been two days since my eventful night with Louis. I was pill to everyone.i didn't have anyone to talk to because Olive and Rachel had their phones turned off and when I called them at home their parents told me they were out.

I may have also been pissed off because I had to leave in two days, I was on my period and yeah those pictures had gotten out. Some fan was among the paps and had posted the pictures to twitter. The pictures spread like wildfire and people from my school eventually found them. I was getting relentless messages containing either bull shit we haven't hung out in a while or could we hang out from people that were rude to me on a regular basis. I also was seeing the comments of the pissed off girls that were in love with Louis. How many mean things could you say about someone?

I had my girls though and they gave me nothing but support. When they saw the picture. They just started to joke around about it. When all the nasty comments started happening Rachel and Olivia put out this big message on Facebook, that told off all the people that were being really awful. many girls wanted to support me so they got this little like page/ support group for me.

Louis checked in everyday and we Skyped a for at least 2 hours. Harry appeared on the screen almost everyday and we all grew really close. Louis and Harry had seen some of the comments and stuff. They really wanted to stand up for me but I just told them to forget about it.

My dad found out. He wasn't happy about it at all. We got into a fight and I ended up hanging up on him. He made me feel awful about the whole thing and said it was embarrassing to see his daughter caught in such an immoral act. For days I avoided his phone call. He would have to apologize and talk things through if he wanted me to forgive him.

Today I was in a particularly bad mood because it was raining so I couldn't go to the beach. I was scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed. I came across this post, a page that I had liked had posted the picture of me and Louis, on the info it said, Louis Tomlinson messed up big time. What the hell was that supposed to mean? I slammed shut the computer.

My grandmother came walking in. She carried in some of my favorite juice and some crackers. She put the food on the coffee table and sat on the other end of the couch and patted my legs. I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back and rested her hand on my legs.

"What's the matter lovey?" She asked

"Oh Grandma its nothing just stupid people being stupid I guess." I replied

"We'll if there stupid then why are you letting them get to you?" She asked confused

"I honestly don't know. I mean usually I don't let stuff like this get to me. I guess it hurts just because its on a national scale and people I don't know are saying it." I answered with a sigh

"But if your friends are ok with it and your family is too then it should be fine. The people that say all that stuff don't even know you so the things they say aren't true. If that boy likes you that should be all that matters." She said with a smile, "Speaking of friends and that boy. I talked with your mom and she told me about how much that boy liked you and how much happiness he brings to you. I also realized how much you love your friends and the beach so we decided to do something about it. She talked to Paul and we have a little surprise for you."

"Grandma, what are you getting at." I asked suddenly nervous

"Why don't you come out to the kitchen and see something." She got up and outstretched her hand for me to get up. I clasped it and got up.

We walked into the kitchen. I could hear my mom shushing someone. When we walked in my mom was at the computer probably looking at her email. I didn't see anything in particular. Then I heard some familiar giggles.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked

My mom turned around the computer and there was Louis and Harry. From below the counter popped up two familiar faces.

"SURPRISE!" shouted Olive and Rachel

I was so shocked. I ran over to them and we got in this major group hug. We screeched and screamed. Oh my gosh I missed these girls so much. We pulled back and they both gave me pecks on either of my cheeks. I smiled and returned the pecks.

"What are you guys doing here?" I screeched

"Well we couldn't let you have all the fun this summer. We came to spend the summer with you!" Olive screeched back

"Wait, what? Since when am I spending the whole summer down here?" I turned to my mom

"Since I decided it would be a nice treat for your last high school summer. And your grandma was more than happy to host for three teenage girls to live at her house." She replied with a smile

I turned to my grandmother and ran to give her a hug. Olive and Rachel followed me and we surrounded my grandmother. Then I ran to my mom and embraced her.

"Thank you so much Mom!" I said with tears threatening to brim my eyes.

"Well don't thank me yet." She raised an eyebrow

"Yeah how could you forget about us?" I heard a low voice say behind me. Harry and Louis. They were on the computer. I turned and ran over.

This time Louis spoke up. "Hello love, just so you know you won't be spending the whole summer just with your wonderful friends. You will also be spending it with, drum roll please Haz," Harry started a drum roll. he stopped, "Harry, the boys and I."

I was hit with another wave of happiness. A whole summer with my best friends and the most wonderful boys ever! Who could ask for more. I let out another screech and everyone around me started to crack up. I again ran to my mom and grandmother and gave them strong hugs.

I looked over at the screen where Louis and Harry sat and looked at me with smiles on their faces, "But where are you guys going to stay. I mean your not going to all fit in my grandmothers house?"

"Your beautiful grandmother said that the house two houses down was for rent so let's just say it will be occupied in two hours." Harry joked

"And then one of those occupies will be paying you a visit as soon as he is settled." Louis added

"You guys will be here in two hours? You'll be in the house, two houses down in two hours? You guys gave me no time to write a thank you speech and I have to do my hair and..." I laughed

Everyone laughed and I looked over and Olive and Rachel. They rolled their eyes along with my mom.

Louis stopped laughing, "Yes love... I will be glad to hear that speech in two hours. And your hair should look as fantastic as Harry's or I will be very disappointed," Louis winked, "sadly we must go love in order to catch the van on time. See you soon love."

Louis and Harry waved goodbye and Harry blew a kiss at everyone. The screen went black.

I turned to Rachel and Olive.

"Time to go upstairs." Rachel said.

"Why?" I asked

"Well your hair must be as perfects as Harry's or this whole summer will go down the drain. We will not miss out on an opportunity to meet the five most hottest boys in the world just because your hair is awful" said Olive

"Yeah and Louis can't see his future wife in her sweats and a t-shirt." Rachel said with a smile

I turned around, "I think I look pretty damn sexy. These sweatpants make my butt look fantastic." I said with a wink

"Yeah get you fantastic butt upstairs Marley Connor." Olive laughed

And with that I let my best friends guide me upstairs to get ready to see Louis.
