Jacinta woke to her alarm of London bells. She quickly turned it off and got up making sure she made no noise. She waited until she heard her father get dressed,kiss her mum good bye, leave outside, and drive off in his jeep to go deer hunting. Once her mother went back to bed,Jacinta got dressed in jeans,a simple shirt and a big baggy black jacket. Quietly opening her door she tip toed to the bath room,brushed her teeth,washed her face and braided her hair. Grabbing her black boots she headed to the back door, turning the knob as silently as she could, Jacinta stepped outside into the cold star sprinkled dawn.
She put on her boots and headed to the garage. Her heart nearly stopped when she saw the lights turn on,but ignored it when she remembered it was the motion detection system which wasn't so great. It was dark inside the garage so she took out her little flashlight and looked for her bike. She took a hold of her bike, took it out and got on it. Before riding into the street she did the sign of the cross and whispered,"God please watch me."
Pedaling fast on her bike, the cold wind slapped Jacinta's face, but she didn't mind.She was getting closer to her destination. Down the street make a right, down another street turn left, then finally keep going stright.
As usual the barking of dogs startled Jacinta, although by now she'd think she was used to it. However, passing the fourth to the last house was always nerve racking. Rumors told by the people on that street say the owner's dogs chase and bite anyone who passes their home. Of course this wan't Jacinta's first time passing that house but just to be sure she always peddled a little faster when she got close. As she passed the little house she saw those dogs sound asleep. "Rumors.",she chuckled.
Finally, Jacinta come to a stop. She left her bike hidden under a tree's shadow and walked over to a little trailer home. Knock,knock, knock. Suddenly, sounds come from inside the home and without warning the door flew open and a pair of strong arms tighted around her.
"Good morning Amancio. How have you been my love?" Jacinta said.
"Good morning my queen. Your slave has missed you." Amancio said into her hair.
Their they sat,talked and embraced each other for a while until Jacinta had to go. "I have to get back before anyone wakes up. I'll try to come back whenever I get the chance my love." Jacinta said with a hint of sadness. Amancio bear hugged her and kissed her cheek.
"I hope to see you soon your majesty." With that said Jacinta smiled ,headed to her bike and rode back home.
When Jacinta put her bike away and walked to her backdoor she couldn't help but remember that sweet kiss Amancio gave her on the cheek. She could feel her cheeks blushing.
As quietly as possible she opened the door, entered, and slowly closed it back. When suddenly a door flung open "Sis,where did you go?!" yelled a voice. Jacinta was startled but then a little pissed off to see it was only her little brother Jon.
"Boy keep quiet ,your going to wake mama and Ben up!" Jacinta snapped putting her finger to her lips. "I was getting some exercise that's all."
"I'll say. Your face is all red sis." commented Jon as he went back to his room to watch the tele. Jacinta forgot she had been blushing. A smile appeared across her face as she too when to her room. Jacinta collapsed on her bed, just then she felt her cell phone vibrate. It was a text message from Amancio...
Your majesty, your sweet fragrance is stuck to my clothes. I miss you already. Hope you have a nice rest of the day. I'll try to text you later . Take care. I love you my queen.
Jacinta smiled and held her cell phone close to her chest. Growl went her stomach. She giggled and stood up. "I think it's about time I get some breakfast."
