My eyes fluttered open to the soft sound of a few birds chirping outside my window. I watch the guys to my left amused. Danny had his arms crossed on my bed, the head placed on top and turned to me. A little spit drooled down from his mouth. Jorel was leaning back against his chair, arms spread and head hanging weirdly to the side. His mouth was wide open. I giggled seeing them. One like a little boy, the other like he just got shot. I looked out the window and saw a little park close to the hospital. Some patients were already up, taking walks or enjoying the fresh air. "Good morning." Caroline peeked her head through the door. She looked really tired. "Are you still on your shift?" She smiled at my concern. "I only have an hour left. The night was tough though." Her smile grew softer as she looked to Jorel and Danny. She pointed to Danny. "He hummed long even after you've fallen asleep." I smiled. I still don't remember them but I slowly understood why they were so close to me. "I'm going to see what your test results are doing and tell Doctor Fields that you are up." With another warm smile she vanished. Jorel let out a loud snore, shifted in his chair and kept snoring, more softly this time. But the first loud one caused Danny to wake up. His head shot up and his eyes open. Together with the dried drool on his mouth and chin, I couldn't help but laugh. I tried to be quiet but Jorel woke up. He looked over at Danny and laughed along with me. "What?" He asked getting up and looking into the mirror over the sink. He chuckled a little and washed his face.

"How are you feeling?" Jorel asked me. "A whole lot better. My body doesn't feel weird and I'm also not tired or exhausted anymore." He smiled. Danny came back over, his phone in his hand. "It's 7am." This made me remember Caroline and what she said about the test results. "You should call the others. Caroline just left before you woke up, saying she would get the doc and the results." Danny started to concentrate on his phone while Jorel looked at me confused. "Who is Caroline?" I laughed. "The nurse from yesterday. I thought I was the one with the memory-lack." He quietly laughed along. "Yeah... She's up and her results are coming soon... She says she's fine..." His gaze brushed over me, his eyes a little sad and his voice more monotone. "No I don't think so... Yeah, okay... Bye." He hung up. His phone slit back into his pocket and he sat down again. "They'll be here soon." – "They asked if I remember right?" Danny nod his head avoiding my eyes. "How's Dylan?" Now he looked at me. "I don't know, I haven't asked... I should have though." I smiled. "Don't worry. Everything will be alright." Danny smiled and Jorel chuckled. "She's the one in the hospital bed, she's the youngest, she doesn't even remember us, yet she's still the one to take care of us." I chuckled along. "What actually are we doing? I mean I already got that we're not in Germany. So I probably came to visit you guys, but where are we?" Sadness flashed through their eyes. "Oh, yeah you don't remember that either... Well, we are a band, the six of us. You wrote with us on a few songs for the new record. You're on vacation right now and we're on a small US-tour. We brought you along to perform the new song. It's a surprise for the fans. We already did three shows and the kids really liked you and the song. Then the accident happened." My smile vanished. "Don't tell me you cancelled a show because of this?!" The guys looked a little shocked at my sudden outburst. "No we didn't have to. The last show was a day before the accident and the next concert is tomorrow in the evening." – "Which doesn't mean that we wouldn't have cancelled a show." Jordon who just walked through the door said. The others followed. George held a white Lily in his hand, which he handed me with a smile. "Ah my favourite flower! Thanks." Matt waved and smiled and Dylan avoided my eyes, but he looked really tired. "Still" – I turned my attention back to Jordon – "don't you dare cancel a show just because I hit my head a little!" He rolled his eyes. Matt laughed and George looked amused. "That's so typically you." I smiled. As I was about to open my mouth again Doctor Fields and Caroline entered.

"You look well Alicia." The doc smiled at me. He flicked through his note on his clipboard. "So as I was guessing, everything is fine. There's nothing out of the ordinary except for her slightly above average IQ." Matt frowned and looked at him. "You made her do an IQ-test?" The doc laughed softly. "No but she made one about three years ago. We checked her medical records and that was the only interesting thing there. She seemed to only have forgotten memories related to people she knows for about a year. This happens every now and then and normally just takes some time." He turned his attention back to me. "So you're free to go. I'm sure your memories will return shortly and that these gentlemen will happily support you." The guys nodded. "Thanks, doc. Thank you too Caroline." They both smiled one last time and left. I looked at the guys. "So I think it's about time I see what my life in a tour-bus looks like."
