Chapter 9

One month later
**Krista's POV**

Well I have gotten over the deaths of both Maya and my mum. Well Liam helped me to. Harry and Ella broke up. My birthday is in a few days. I kind of like how my life is going even though I miss Maya and my mum. I begin to smile when I remeber the time Maya made Liam eat quaker oats with a spoon, then the doorbell interrupts my thoughts.

"We will like to see Miss Edgewood Please"

"Ok. Krista, someone is looking for you" Harry yelled making everyone come downstairs

"Thanks Harry" I said sacarsticatically

"Are you Krista?"

"Yes. Why?"

"Ok. We were carrying out our investigation on the burnt house and we saw this letter you mum wrote to you. Apparently she wanted you to read it but it looks like she forgot it. It is very important you read it"

"Thank you" I say and collect the letter from him

"We will come back if there is any problem"

"Ok" I say and shut the door.

"What does it say?" Liam askes me

"I dont know but I guess I should open it" I say as I open it

Dear Krista,
Am sorry I left you for a very long time. It wasnt my fault. I had to make life easy for you. Your father maltreated you. I know. I fought really hard for you but your father was stronger. You have an older brother. His name is Keith. He lives 2 minutes from Liam's house. Pay him a visit. The reason why your father maltreated you is because we had you by mistake but i dont regret having you. I really love you and I really wish that when you read this you wont hate me. Your father is still alive. He lives at 24 regents parkway. Please forgive me I didnt tell you all this. I really didnt want to disturb you but I hope Liam will take care of you and make sure that hole in your heart is healed. I love you very much

As I read the letter, tears dropped from my eyes

"I wish this hadnt come now" I said and went to the room. I knew they had followed me to the room

"What did the letter say?" Kira asked
I gave it to them and they read it.

"Krista, we are so sorry" Louis said hugging me

"Thank you"I said cleaning my tears.

"You know we are here for you. ALWAYS AND FOREVER" Louis said

I smiled. "You guys are the best. Its getting late and I need to rest. Thanks again"

"No problem. We have to be at the studio by 4pm tomorrow, Do you girls wanna come?" Niall asked

"Sure" Kira and I said

"Ok then. Goodnight" Zayn said

"Goodnight" I said nd they left Liam and I

"Liam there is something I need to tell you" I said getting under the duvet with him.

"Sure. Am all ears."

"Before I met you, I had a boyfriend. His name is Connor. He was really sweet. We were together for 2 years. I was 15 when we started dating. Later on, his attitude changed and I began to feel insecure. I told Sam. She adviced me to break up bu I couldnt do. He began to beat me up. At home I was suffering fom maltreatment from my father. I started cutting when I was only 11. I couldnt take the pain anymore. I broke up with Connor before he tried to sleep with me that night and went back home to suffer another maltreatment. My father was drunk. Dead drunk and he tried to rape me, I fought back and left the house for him. I was tired. That was when I ran into your car. I thought I had died and was very happy until the doctor told me someone helped me and found out it was Liam freaking Payne from One Direction. I never imagined my life could be like this. Even when you asked me if you could take me home, I refused. I was scared. You asked me to be you girlfriend later on when I bcame friends with everyone then I lost my innocence to you and produced a very beautiful, smart daughter and I couldnt be more grateful for having you in my life.
