The Bidders and the Mermaid

Chapter 1

Sapphire's PoV:
"Not again," I muttered to myself as I tried to remove myself from the shower. My long dark brown hair creating a wall in front of my face as I laid in like an "L", my back on the floor and my beautiful blue tail pressed up against the shower wall. I tried to remove myself from the hot water as I continued to knock over bottle after bottle of hair care products with my tail.
"Ow, that one really hurt," I winced as a shampoo bottle fell on my head. 'I'm gonna be here a while' I thought to myself.

Finally removing myself from the shower, I dried myself and got dressed. I wore a light blue strapless high-low shirt with ripped white denim shorts, with a pink flower in my hair as it cascaded down my back and stopped at my hips.
I walked into the living room of my Dubai mansion and found none other than my hard at work boyfriend staring at his computer screen, I slowly walked over and leaned over his lap.
"Eisuke," I whispered, rather seductively. I looked up at him with my ocean blue eyes, through my long eyelashes and gave a small grin with my natural bright pink lips.
I always looked so innocent but proved to be the very opposite when I wanted to be.
Eisuke's PoV:
I looked up at her and met her sexy gaze, I immediately closed my laptop and moved it aside.
"What can I help you with my gem," I asked as I grabbed her face and locked her in an intense kiss that left her out of breath.
"I was just wondering if you wanted to come with me to the beach,"Sapphire said, bringing herself down to sit in my lap.
"You seemed stressed and you tend to get moody when you're stressed."I looked up at her and smirked, I couldn't resist her, there was just something about her that drew me in and didn't let go.
Suddenly I heard shouts coming from outside, very familiar shouts.
"Hey guys!" I heard Baba's voice.
"We came here to hang with the guys, the least you can do is come and great us." Ota was there, too, the rest of the guys must be with them.
"I'm going to go change I'll be right back," Sapphire said as she got off my lap and scampered off into the bedroom to change. I watched her go, mesmerized by her smooth and elegant movements.

I quickly changed into a pair of red swim trunks and join the guys outside.
"Hey, Boss," Baba yelled to me from the shore, I jerked my head at him in response.
"What are you all doing here?" I asked, I was kinda planning on spending my beach day alone with Sapphire.
"Nothing really, we felt like swimming and it's less crowded here," Mamoru replied. 'I know what you mean' I thought. It was a beautiful day, a beach or pool type of day, so I guess the hotel guests would swim at the beach in front of the hotel.
"Hey guys." I turned around and saw Sapphire coming out of the house, my jaw dropped.
Sapphire's PoV:
I walked out of the house wearing a bright red, strapless bikini top, reveal a little bit of cleavage and matching bottoms that showed off just a little bit of cheek.
I was already a very curvy person, a big bust and a big butt, and this hugged me perfectly. I was able to look sexy, but not trashy and judging from the reaction I got from the boys I looked pretty damn good.
I walked over to them and they were all quiet, they just stared at me. Even Baba and Ota were dumbstruck. I laughed at their blank faces and walked past them to a rock that jutted out over the ocean, kinda like a cliff.
"You're drooling, boys," I said as I walked by, swaying my hips for dramatic effect.
I sat on the rock and over looked the waves. 'I wish I could swim, I thought. 'But they still don't know and I don't wanna scare them off.'
I sighed, knowing that I may never be able to tell them. But it's been getting harder and harder to keep this secret a secret, Eisuke's always asking me why I always go for a midnight swim, and why I take to long in the shower, and why I always look out over the ocean longingly, and why I look like I wanna tell him something but don't. I can give him answers to keep him off my case for a little while, but now he's not buying them.
I just don't know what I'm gonna do, I don't wanna lose him because he thinks I don't trust him but I also don't wanna lose him because he thinks I'm a freak. I know the people say that if they really love you they'll accept you for who you are, but they never say anything about what you are.
Eisuke's PoV:
She said we were drooling, me, drooling? I don't think so. I was about to say something in my defense, but then I saw her sitting in the rock and looking all sad.
I glanced at the other guys and they seemed to have notice to. Sapphire's been really down lately and she won't open up to me about it, she been acting weird and every time I ask her about it she either lies or avoids the question.
I tried to get Soryu to check her out, but he said he didn't want to get involved. I know everything about her though; her home, her family, her everything, yet I can't help but feel that's there's something I don't know, something she wants me to know but won't tell me.
I walk over to her and sit next to her, she doesn't seem to notice. I see a single tear trickle down her cheek and I wiped it away with my thumb, she jumps at my touch and looks over at me.
Her eyes look so sad, holding back a secret that needs to be let out. It's almost like she's hurting herself, sometimes I hear her cries when she's in the shower and I worry about what she's going through and why she won't confide in anyone.
"Are you okay, Sapphire? You know you can talk to me about what's bugging you, I'll make it all go away. I promise." I put my arm around her and pull her close.
She lets out an exasperated laugh and tears fall down her face. "If only this was the type of thing that could go away," she said as she buried her face in my chest.
I just don't know what to do with this girl, this beach day is not going as planned.
