A mother and her child move into a new house shortly after getting divorced.They know absolutely nothing about the house and the last owner left all their items in the house.
The mother and her child Samuel soon go to bed. Samuel picks out a book from the shelf and asks if they can read it. The mother was very suspicious from the name of the book (The Babadook) but Samuel begged her then she finally gave in.
"If it in a word or if it's in a look,
You can't get rid of the babadook" at this moment she had a bad feeling bout it so she pretended that she had chicken in the oven that she forgot all about.
The next day Samuel was in the back yard playing and the mother was still in bed and she suddenly woke up and seen a coat and a top hat on the peg and she didn't know who's it was. She soon went to work and had seen the exact same coat and top hat in the kitchen. She then said to her co worker Tammy and said who's coat and hats that and Tammy couldn't see the coat and hat so the mother Meg thought she was going insane so she went home and just went straight to bed. She heard scratching and screeching so she hid under her covers and all she could hear was "Baba Dook, Dooook, Dooooooook so she starting screaming saying "what do you want from me?" The Babadook answered "Deathhhhh!!!!" Meg fainted and soon woke up in the morning realising she was falling through the sky but it was just an illusion from the Babadook. When she hit the ground she actually fell into her bed then woke up. She looked through her door and saw a man in a top hat and a coat walking along the corador then she said Samuel and then his knifes popped out as he was walking towards her room with his knife screeching along the wall as he walked he started screaming and making really disturbing noises and speaking in an unknown language. She jumped out of her covers and hid under her bed she couldn't see his feet anywhere she then came to one side under the bed and looked up and seen a deformed black figure crawling about her roof it soon then jumped into her mouth and possessed her she started chasing her son and found him but then Samuel threw a knife at her face and paralysed her so the Babadook jumped out of Meg and ran into the basement and locked the door.
Now the Babadook shall stay in the basement and they shall feed it worms
If it dies Samuel and Meg die with it.
The Babadook wasn't actually real it was just the darkness of Meg and Samuel in Monster form so if they kill it they are basically committing suicide so they have to keep it alive or they all die👎🏿
