There is this one question, one question that is on everybody's mind... Why did... The chicken cross the road.
Now. This question can be answered in many different ways. You see, a chicken has a brain. Therfore it can decide what it wants to do in it's life. Why do people question/joke about this situation? It's because they can and making a "joke" about a chicken is far more interesting than making one about a human.
A normal chicken wouldn't usually cross a road, because, you know, it's a chicken and you don't see much chickens roaming the streets, now do you. No, you don't, so maybe this chicken is crossing the road to get back home or maybe because it has no clue where the hell it's going. Of course the first thought would be "to get to the other side" that's just too obvious, nah, the real question is Why did the chicken go to the other side of the road?
[Yes, that does sound very close and seems like pretty much the exact same thing. It isn't! Shhh]
That would be the better question and that's the question I'm going to answer.
We all know the reason why the chicken crossed the road, but do we know why it chose to cross that particular part of the road or what it was thinking while crossing it. Like I said, chickens have no need to cross the road so maybe a careless owner was, casually, walking their chicken and let go of the leash so it decided to take a little stroll and it so happened to see a road on it's adventures and crossed it. Then again, nobody walks chickens but that is a possibility, but very unlikely.
Another question, who is "the chicken" it a celebrate chicken? Is it a male or a female? is it just the ordinary chicken you would find at the farm? Or is it the chicken, the one of a kind, the one chicken everybody talks about?
I've gave a stupid answer, I've talked "the chicken". Now, Why did in fact did the chicken cross the road, better yet, Why did the chicken go to the other side of the road. The reason that is most likely to happend is simply... It didn't, the chicken had never crossed any road, Why do I say this? Chickens don't get taken for a walk, chickens stay with their owners. The only type of road a chicken is going to cross is a 4 feet long country road, nothing interesting. This is why it has became a joke, it's simply because; it can't, and it won't.
