SKYRING WAS WELL-NAMED IN IVY'S OPINION. They had ended up in a giant lake, and they had to swim to shore. As soon as they had surfaced, Hope had remembered everything, and she had become a lot more confident since she knew her way around and everything.

She had a cabin and a garden so that they could plant food. It was all set for them to stay for a couple of days while they figured out what the plan was. That was until Hope informed them that they had to wait five freaking years before they could even attempt to reach Bellamy.

"How long did you expect us to stay?" Ivy scoffed after being talked out of just diving back down through the lake. She had never been an amazing swimmer anyway considering she was raised on a space station.

"What is it about Bellamy that has otherwise sensible women willing to die for him?" Hope scoffed, and Echo seemed to stop and think about that for a moment. But Ivy knew exactly what it was. It was the fact that he was loyal, and he was kind. It was the fact that he would stop at nothing to save them. Ivy knew that if the roles were reversed, he wouldn't give up on her."Octavia tried for six years to get back to her brother."

Echo whipped around in shock. "You were here for six years?"

"I was here for twenty years," Hope corrected, and Ivy could not believe that all of that happened within a few minutes or so. "She was here for ten, six of them spent trying to reach the pretty light at the bottom of the lake."

"Hey. I think I can read this," Gabriel called from inside the cabin.

Hope glanced at the two women. "Let's hope you learn faster," she said before turning around and heading inside.

"Maybe we should go home," Echo said after a moment of silence between the two. "When the Anomaly opens the next time, maybe we should seize the opportunity."

"No," Ivy answered, shaking her head firmly. "I'm not leaving Bellamy. Feel free to leave if you want, but I can't," she told her, and then she walked inside. Echo paused for a second before following her.

When they entered, Hope was speaking. "You can pull someone through by entering in their code, or you can tag them with a tracker. It's got to be deep, or they could end up inside out or something."
